Still another blast from the past. Ten years ago (2004) I entered a music composition contest with strict and awkward rules frankly I completely forgot, posting this track, improvised during an afternoon with an image in my mind of a multi-millenarian evolution of some species of living beings, from a primitive, simple, slow and clumsy form of life to a complex and efficient organism — hence the title "Clade" (life always evolves in clades).

I used just three sounds: Roland D-50's Cathedral Organ, a sampled piano and a physically modelled acoustic guitar of the Korg OASYS PCI.

So I've been creating 3 or 4 sequences in Quantum, so wanted to see what I could do with just one four step sequence and moog model model 15 (nothing else other than audio share to capture in audiobus).
This represents Quantum at it's simplest level. I'd even say simpler than MidiSequencer.

Moog M15 is doing all the work here, Quantum just drives the pitch to create a nice pattern.

Main features of the M15 patch are 1) detunes OSC 1,2 & VCO 2) ping pong delay at 100% mix and 80% feedback, timing =258ms to match 30bpm sequence.
3) VCF & Fixed filter used as traditional moog filters 4) envelopes used to define definition to notes and 5) mixer used to blend.
