Music Obsessed Creative Daydreamer who occasionally creates a mix or two.
Pete’s love affair with Electronic music started in the early 80’s with bands like Depeche Mode, Japan and OMD when he discovered Sir John Peel’s radio show…..a radio show that would help shape his musical taste over the coming years…...after brief flirtations with Hip Hop / Electro and Early Indie music, He became obsessed with a new sound emerging from the US…..House Music. 
After settling in London in the early 90’s, He bought himself some decks and along with a friend began learning the art of mixing…..heavily influenced by the likes of Sasha & Digweed, and clubs like Renaissance / Basics / Ministry…...the sound was Progressive. 
He continued to follow the scene for a few years but sadly life got in the way and the mixing took a back seat for a while.
That was until about 2 years ago, when the passion was re-ignited and the move over to digital was made…...By no means an expert, but still very passionate about the music and scene……’I Just love the music’.

LUNA is a DJ from Osaka, Japan. She has worn a lot of hats musically, having been the founder of the FEARLESS PODCAST, Radio Resident at STROM:KRAFT, and also Radio Manager & Head of Digital Promotions at progressive house label, Pineapple Digital.
She most definitely “has her EAR TO THE GROUND” when it comes to finding great deep, tech, and progressively-chilled sounds…
BACKGROUND
She started DJ activities in dining bars in 2011. However she decided to limit herself to online activities, such as podcast and radio which actually brought her to a wider stage.
As a child, LUNA was brought up in an environment with different types of music and this affected her playing style with a diversity of music genres like House, Techno, something Deep and Progressive, and also Chill.
She is free-spirited and plays records in her own style.
In order to make more people interested in club music and enjoy clubbing, LUNA is still working hard on performing her mission.

As we're creeping towards the end of the year, I decided to highlight a new and exciting melodic techno concept;

I came in contact with one of the founders a while ago through the DHA academy (https://soundcloud.com/deep-house-amsterdam) and I decided to highlight this new and inspiring melodic techno concept.
⁠
FDTD is a first production from the newly formed non-profit organization called Geestdrift, which was created by 4 founders (Julie, Lothar, Matthias and Maxime)
⁠
They mainly focus on melodic techno & progressive house.
The goal is to start giving their genre of music, and young talented artists, a stage to perform. They had a first (private) event in October which sold out after a week and a half. And so far, 2 sold out editions of FDTD were organized, with Beswerda as headliner for the second edition . The third edition will take place on March 18th at Amigo Amigo in Ghent, with again an international headliner who already released on Oddity, Atlant and Eklectisch.

The intention is to organize club nights in the future, do their own parties & next summer an open air at a unique location.
The focus is and always will be quality. They're always going to try to work with people who also produce their own music. On their first event they invited Bröder & Kimman as external DJs, just to give an example.

To highlight the new concept even more, one of their residents (https://soundcloud.com/dvsk_music), who has more than 20 years of experience, made an enchanting guestmix. An excellent mix of relaxing melodic techno, an electro twist and a very nicely balanced dose of danceable melancholic sounds.
