Doo Doo Doo (burp) mix 4_14_17

a cover of Terry Taylor's "When The Moonlight Sleeps" of his DA album Fearful Symmetry.  This was recorded almost 20 years ago for a DA tribute album that did not materialize.  I later licensed it for a small collection of covers that I did for a fundraiser.  Taylor had been artistically instrumental to me for his poetic references and influences.  I was introduced to and fell in love with the poetry of William Blake and Ts Elliot as a result of Taylor's work.

Having recorded multiple albums and having performed alongside such artists as Low, IDA, Jason Molina, Sam Phillips and Over the Rhine, Seattle-based folk singer Robert Deeble's released "Heart Like Feathers,"  his first full length in six years.

Previously proclaimed “an arresting talent, able to gain entry to places rarely imagined by most songwriters” by Paste Magazine, Deeble’s new work is deeply informed by his time off, in which he earned a master's degree in psychology and, along with his wife, became a foster parent to a baby girl.
