Brookcato. 11:37 et seq. Definition: A string instrument playing a dynamic range between fff and ppp within the same note or chord whilst accompanied by other string instruments performing the same technique, each instrument having it's own variously independent dynamic range maxima and minima within the same phrase

By means of this technique, different string instruments imbue strikingly independent voices within the same note chord or phrase, giving rise to a sense of holistic totality, accompanied at the same time by a paradoxical sense of instrumental independence

The Gordian knot remains intact, at the very moment it is severed. Extraordinary work

This takes place both on a micro level (within the same note chord or phrase) and within the piece heard holistically (on the macro higher abstraction level)

This piece heralds an important step forward

The intractable problem faced by Alexander the Great in Gordium, solved there as here with a direct novel and rule-bending solution...eleven being the first prime number repdigit, in Latin 'undeca'...the smallest positive integer with three syllables
