The connection of Irazu with electronic music is a symbol of sonic expressionism and self-discovery, attempting to understand what and who one is.

Continuing his constant search for new sounds and ways to explore his mind through music, this leads him to release his second album in 2023, titled "Self-Medicating," on Warm Up Recordings, owned by Oscar Mulero. This album is his most aggressive and dark to date.

Reclaim Your City 089 | Zadig (Paris)

Zadig is sometimes presented as a Paris music scene old stager. This is not completely true. Even if his first contacts with electronic music date from the early 90s, it is not until 2009 and his first release on the label Plastic Rec that his talent as a producer finally emerged. The signing to Syncrophage in 2010 and the creation of his own label Construct Re-Form in 2011 completed this unveiling process. From now on, Zadig is recognized as a talented and shrewd label manager. Although contacted by prestigious clubs such as Berghain, Rex or Concrete he remains attached to underground culture and to a vision of the music industry based on friendship and solidarity. 

His atypical trajectory is above all a story of encounters. Zadig gets into the rave scene in the 90s. He makes his place rapidly into this growing community and stands out as an unavoidable. Figure of the Norman scene. But five years of mixing Indus, Hardcore or Acid music finally gave him an oppressive Sense of being closed in. Moreover, he no longer identifies with this environment and decides to turn to Techno, a much more
basic but also wider style of music. Highly influenced by Jeff Mills, Joey Beltram, Surgeon or the labels Synewave, Lost or Tresor, Sylvain is at a turning point in his career. He then moves to Paris and holds various odd jobs.

It is by working at Matos DJ Store , the famous Bastille music store that he meets Mathieu Berthet an independent sound engineer, a record distributor and an expert in electronic music. This encounter turns into a friendship and Zadig regains interest in creating music. He then takes a risk, gets into debt and creates his own home studio with a Juno 106 synthesizer, the TR-808 and TR-909 Rhythm Composers etc…

Mathieu Berthet also enables him to be introduced to the label Plastic Rec for the release of his first Detroit-oriented single ‘‘Vision’’. Zadig makes a distribution deal with Syncrophone. That’s the beginning of a nice story with the Record store which releases Dark Nebula in 2010. This record is considered as his first important step in terms of production and enables him to sign with Sino (Technasia’s label). The maxi P.8 takes his career to a new level by offering him international visibilty. Meanwhile, he makes friends with major figures of the Techno and House Parisian music scene such as John Thomas and Dj Deep Didier Allyne. This is in fact with the latter’s label, Deeply Rooted House, that he has just signed his latest maxi “TTRXL”. Thanks to these encounters and the experience he has gained, Zadig then starts Construct Re-Form, a label on a human scale which was initially created to release his own productions. In 2010, he collaborates with S3A and is playlisted by Marcel Dettman on Friendship Connection (Paname Recordz). This significant success had given him a solid basis to develop his own label.

Construct Re-Form almost immediately welcomes 3 talented DJs known as Antigone, Voiski and Birth of Frequency. Zadig then becomes an astute label manager who provides technical advice and, perhaps most importantly, human support to his three protégés. Considering the recent results of the label and its growing recognition, this formula works wonders. It is a relief for Zadig who starts new projects such as Ars Mechanica, a label influenced by spatial and dreamlike atmospheres in the footsteps of Johannes Volk with Exploration Record.
This reasonable approach of taking risk is necessary for Zadig who also likes to put himself in danger on stage where he favours live performance to DJ Sets. This philosophy, which he instils around him is actually the only feature that makes him a stager, a kind of wise man.

Manuel Valle (AKA Endplate) was born in Malaga in the mid-eighties. He first came into contact with electronic music at age thirteen. However, it would be in Granada - his home during his university years - where he discovered and fell in love with techno. He has always felt a fascination for the darker side of the genre. 
This shows in his work, as straightforward mental sounds envelope you. His pounding bass lines and percussive synth sequences, as the dance floor consistently remains his focus, will not fail to have an impact on the listener.
Endplate's music is always in constant evolution as proved in the work he has already produced for AINE.

Playing for over 10 years, this artist is focusing on Ambient and Hypnotic Techno. He released on some label like Northallsen Records, Systolic or Lett Records.

He is the new resident of the Berlin-based event series Art Bei Ton and will soon release on their first various album.

We’re proud to hear our residents grow despite the current situation. Everyone is coping with these times in their own way and for RON L this includes finding comfort in other music genres. By broadening his musical horizon he manages to keep himself inspired and deliver the drive and energy he’s known for so well.

In this set RON L aimed to translate the energy he would provide in a peak-time club experience. By using dark hypnotic soundscapes in combination with lots of energetic drive he manages to mesmerize the dancefloor and give them a dynamic experience. He aims to create an atmosphere of trust and mutual respect where the listener can fully let go and indulge in the moment. This magical dancefloor experience is something we all miss a lot, but thanks to RON L we have some new perspective on what to expect once the sound systems are fired up again.
