I think this song comes from my first original style of writing, unorthodox, NOT the A, B, C, D Formula Genesis was talking about, lol
maybe I think,

Wake Up Dead, a lot of those songs off that Peace Sells album Mustaine was writing raw & hyper charged, King Diamond, was also not your average formula writers

I think it's stuff like these bands & songs that contributed to this formula but hearing other styles, genres, etc., within.. (Queensryche, Korn, FNM, Bungle, Van Halen, Alice & Chains, GOZ, Dream Theater... a mix of all kinds of fun! :D
