This track was written back in 1999 it was slated for a Layd-Bak album not never materialized.  I am allowing these tracks to finally live.  This makes me think of Shalamar  Enjoy....

This song was originally written in 1986 the day after my Jr Prom.  The title then was Imitate Thoughts.  it was a song about a young man who had his heart broken by a young lady.  Not knowing how to tell her the song was written.  He tells her goodbye in this song.  Some years later he reaches out to her an Old Friend to see how life was treating her and her family and while talking i was playing on my keyboard I started playing this song with even realizing it.  This time it wasn't a sad occasion but conversation with an Old Friend.  I hope you enjoy!!

I'm Not The Man has to be one of my favorite songs I have ever worked on with Brian G. Soul.  The lyrics are so raw!  It takes a lot for a man to sometimes admit that he has loved wrong and that he is truly sorry.  In this song you hear that from Brian G Soul.  I hope you enjoy this scratch track that never made any further than just a track for our listening pleasure.  "I'm Not The Man"
