‘Umay’ was written by Galya Bisengalieva. Umay is the goddess of the earth and fertility in Tengriism, also resembling earth mother goddesses found in various other world religions. She is a protector of women and children. Umay is associated with the sun, she is called 'Yellow Maiden', and yellow is her colour and symbol. She is depicted as having sixty golden tresses that look like the rays of the sun. 

Galya created 60 Layers of electronically manipulated violin drone and virtuosic passages, as well as recording Shankobyz (traditional Kazakh instrument) which was sampled and chopped to create an otherworldly drum machine
