"A ccu apparteni?" , Whom do you belong to ? 
it's an old sicilian way for asking foreign people their identity. It questions not a "where" you belong but "whom", as to highlight that a person without his "tribe" cannot define his own self without belonging to his traditions, language, values. 

This work is my personal tribute to my own belongings and it wanst to represent all the people that have left their own countries, with their loneliness and their proudness, to all the "uprooted" of any time and latitude.

Restless soul from the South, Roberta's background has deep roots in the heart of Sicily, where she's born. 
Growing up listening to the masters of Italian songwriting of 70s/80s, she approaches folk music as dancer at teenage , ending up singing -eventually, gaining nice experiences with her first folk group, Compagnia Triskele.

The curiosity of learning more about music, lands her on jazz fields: in this brief but intense period, she focuses on harmony and composition, starting writing her own songs: in Destini Coatti you can feel the school she mastered at, with eclectic use of harmony, rhythm and styles, her cynic but ironic approach to life, the look at weirdos, outcasted people.
