Alaskan Symmetry was inspired by the view of Denali, the tallest mountain in North America, perfectly reflected on Mirror Lake in Denali National Park. The work revolves around the idea of symmetry, with each movement incorporating the concept in a different way. Each movement is also based on a different bird song from the Denali region.
