I can't believe how quickly time has passed. It has taken me forever to realize that I've been DJing for ten years now. This journey has transformed me in so many ways, and I've experienced a whirlwind of emotions and met wonderful people along the way. 

Promoting/producing events isn’t as romantic as I once thought, but it’s the only path I truly understand and know how to navigate. This mixtape reflects my first love: electronic dance music. As a teenager, I fell deeply in love with this sound. I was never drawn to rock bands stuff; instead, it was minimal, techno, and house music that captivated me—anything with that super minimal, electronic vibe.

the mixtape is just good old ode to DJ.
Easygoing, danceable vibrations from all over the world, layered with the gentle essence of timeless 4x4 ritualistic dance music.

Ce mois-ci on se balade dans la collection de 100’000 vinyles de la Bibliothèque de Lyon avec The Hacker. 
Actif depuis une trentaine d’années dans le milieu de la musique électronique, il a, avec ou sans Miss Kittin, exporté le son electroclash français au quatre coins de la planète. Son passage à la Bibliothèque coïncide avec la tenue de l’exposition «Entre Rave et Réalité», visible gratuitement jusqu’au 31 octobre à la Bibliothèque de la Part-Dieu, qui retrace les débuts, chaotiques, de la musique électronique dans la région.

La Sélection avec The Hacker

Gabi B es una DJ brasileña nacida en São Paulo. Comenzó su investigación explorando las raíces del house, el techno y el acid de Chicago, y así recorre diferentes sonidos, intentando conectar sus raíces y ramas.  Actualmente es residente del colectivo “Casa Torta”, radicado en Cambuci, barrio céntrico de la ciudad de SP, donde los vecinos de la casa celebran allí su propia fiesta local.

Toxx is originally from the south of Russia, now posted up in Belgrade, Serbia. He cut his teeth throwing chaotic, unforgettable parties back home—real DIY energy, real sweaty dance floors. These days, he’s the guy behind the scenes making sure everything sounds right, running a sound equipment rental business and working as a technical director for events. If the speakers aren’t blowing up mid-set, thank him.

When he’s not untangling cables or saving shows from technical meltdowns, Anton (aka Toxx) is diving deep into his own music. He’s into building DJ sets that feel more like journeys than just tracklists—genre-fluid and full of weird, beautiful energy.

For this mix, he stitched together some of his favorite sounds—house, electro, EBM, acid, and techno—all warped and woven into one smooth trip. Press play, close your eyes, and see where it takes you.

Ser Martin is a selector, producer, and promoter exploring the hidden facets of underground techno and house. As a resident of Kazan’s art center Werk and creator of the micro-media ༒KT༒, Sergey makes a significant contribution to the development of the local scene.
His performances, alongside venues in Tbilisi and Yerevan, are remembered by the walls of capital and regional clubs, and in 2023 the artist had the opportunity to perform at the Signal festival.
The musician’s debut EP was released on the Welofi label in 2025. The release features a synthesis of house, techno, trance, bass, and breakbeat with hints of abstract textures.

Мальчик из интеллигентной семьи (художественная школа, коллекция марок, список прочитанных книг), в смутное перестроечное время, как и многие его сверстники, вплотную познакомился с феноменом молодежных группировок. Чудом выжив и сохранив остатки былой интеллигентности, он переместился в казанскую панк-тусовку — играл в группе «Бак-Пасефф», а в 2000-м уехал в столицу, где был музобозревателем, диджеем, довольно популярным клубным персонажем в московской тусовке нулевых и участником проекта Heavy Metal DJs. Сейчас Роберт работает гидом в Еврейском музее. Спустя годы тема молодежной оргпреступности настигла его, когда бывший группировщик решил поделиться своим жутковатым, но любопытным опытом.

Роберт Гараев, скрывающийся за вызывающим ником DJ Pornosuperstar - эстет и меломан из интеллигентной семьи, хип-хопер, промоутер и журналист, человек в высшей степени незаурядный, далеко зашедший в поисках собственного "я". Его шокирующий псевдоним, более подходящий для DJ Бензины, точно определяет место диджея в нынешнем культурном пространстве. Сделав эпатаж своим главным артистическим козырем, но? не забывая при этом и о музыке, Porno SS ничуть не заботится о том, чтобы держать себя в рамках каких-то bpm. Этот безумный пати монстр и обладатель "Золотой горгульи" 2004 , играет в сетах диско, фанк, электро и тек-хаус-треки в самых хамских треш интерпретациях. Его обаяния и артистичности хватило бы на десятерых, но преданность панк-идеалам юности и злая самоирония не дает Порнороберту стать одним из лабухов, успешно стригущих купоны по дорогим клубам города, и заставляет культивировать образ романтичного циника и сумасшедшего фрика. Думаете это легко? Тогда назовите хоть одного диджея, который был бы счастлив тем, что поклонницы за глаза зовут его "порнушечка".

Heavy Metal DJs - творческое музобъединение, сложившиеся благодаря нынешним московским реалиям. Музыкант, диск-жокей старой школы Дима Feelgood и диджей, журналист Роберт Порносуперстар познакомились еще в клубе Mix, но сошлись позже, благодаря жилищному вопросу. Через несколько лет квартира начала наполняться музыкальными инструментами и девайсами. Корейский джаз-бас, купленный на гонорар от диджейских гастролей, стал первой ласточкой. Комбики, электрическая гитара, синтезатор, миди-клавиатура, ableton 8 suite быстро стали доминировать среди убранства жилища. Добившись на записи жирного баса, правильной бочки и четких гитар, ребята решили размяться воспроизведением музыкальных номеров живьем
