From my "Violet Waves" album inspired by characters and themes from my "The Violet Engine" novel. 

A haunting portrait of power's cost as noble duty transforms into obsession. The song traces a lord's gradual corruption as violet patterns write themselves beneath his skin, the very force he sought to control now claiming him. Behind his aristocratic facade, something ancient and unknowable grows, trapped between family legacy and personal ambition, until the keeper of power becomes its prisoner.
