As the summer hots up Shinichi boss Sharam looks to warm up the label roster with a host of new releases. First up is Bosnian bad boy, Sinisa Tamamovic who delivers his Orgasm EP. 

Shinichi are delight to welcome Sinisa back  with the follow up to his label debut 'Relief', that was released back in April. With his music regularly sitting pretty in the upper echelons of the download charts, Sinisa's penchant for dirty organic drum sounds, clean rhythms and crisp percussion has seen him blossom on labels including 1605, Truesoul, Plus 8,  SCI+TEC and our sister imprint, Yoshitoshi.

His Orgasm EP is another fine selection of gritty, funk-driven techno that features two exclusive new originals plus a remix of the title track from Napoli's, Hollen.

Nicole has returned to Drumcode all guns blazing with her new ‘Bittersweet EP’. The A- side ‘I Know Where I’ve Been’, is a deep rolling techno machine that uses a constant building percussion loop that eventually explodes into some serious funky signature Moudaber techno! ‘Bittersweet’ is a techno belter that uses a hypnotic synth rhythm that will take the listener into another world. The repetitive claps induce a flurry of energy and excitement whilst supported by the crisp highs.

Foremost international techno outlet Drumcode is delighted to announce the release of its next full-length album, ‘Satellite’, by enduring Italian techno talent Sam Paganini.

Though he has been active since the mid nineties, recent years have been hugely successful for Sam, with searing techno EPs coming on revered labels such as Riche Hawtin’s Plus8, Sven Vath’s Cocoon and of course, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode. In his time he has been responsible for underground hits like ‘Zoe’, ‘Polyester’ and ‘Fire In My Arms’, all of which demonstrate his dynamic understanding of sexy, dark and hypnotic techno grooves and at the same time have earned him plenty of great Beatport chart positions as well as respect from the best in the game.

Incredibly, ‘Satellite’ is Sam’s first full-length album. Informed by his DJ gigs at legendary places like Berghain in Berlin and Cielo in New York, the album starts with a dystopian bit of sonic scene setting, as if a space ship is charging up ready to take off.

From there it’s a case of getting straight down to business. ‘Another Chance’ is a spacey bit of cantering techno and ‘White’ is rooted in devastating kick drums and is riddled with serrated synth lines that build lots of great techno pressure. ‘Down’ is an undulating bit of funky techno complete with choice vocal flourishes and tracks like ‘Lotus’ are prime offerings from the deeper end of the scale.

No two tracks sound the same on Satellite: Sam is always teasing out a new bit of texture, nailing a slightly different vibe or exploring different amounts of light and dark throughout the course of this most excellent album. This is evidenced by diverse cuts like ‘Dusty’, ‘Toxic’ and ‘Rave’.

Despite ‘Satellite’ being Sam’s debut album, it showcases his seductive style in all its glory across 12 fantastic tracks that will leave you begging for more.

After his „Private Dancer“ on Diynamic’s „Four To The Floor 26“, German DJ and producer Basti Grub returns to the label with his first full four-tracker titled „I Want To Party With You EP“
Opening track „Sondans“ features Kenyan singer Sofiya Nzau’s playful voice over a worldly beat with Amapiano/Latin influences.
„Elis“ featuring HOTDISC is a high-paced dance floor workout for the peak time, while their collaboration „I Want To Party With You“ that additionally includes the hypnotic vocals of Dizzy Monroe is a deeper affair.
And closing off the record is the mellow „Robotooo“ that gives off sunset vibes on a warm beach in your nearest paradise

Luigi Madonna returns to Drumcode a year after his superb single ‘Primo’ using familiar hooks, huge stabs and monstrous drums that storm across the dance floor which, are common with Mr Madonna. The hard hitting raw vibe of this EP gives Luigi an edge, with fluttering high’s and saturated lows, Luigi’s tracks are a mainstay in all DJ sets. The EP encompasses different emotions throughout that can be felt within the track ‘Singer One’, offering a more mellow side to Luigi’s already expansive catalogue.

Presented as a three-track EP, Slam’s latest body of work for Drumcode covers a range of styles, drawing on their vast experience of the multi-colored nature of techno. Vespula, with its resolute groove and low, humming bass works the speakers hardest, while synth stabs, dramatic drawn out chords and a distinctive two-tone hook add contrast. Resume puts musicality to the fore by creating a melodic ride that flows from an undulating bass line and a soaring synth line whilst retaining a strong percussive energy. Metus beats out a slow burning but impactful groove that swings between an intricate, multi-layered arrangement of wigged out atmospherics and industrial clunks and clanks. Agent Orange - Emerald City

Born in 1987 and raised in the Neapolitan underground, Roberto Capuano has become one of the more recent generation’s brightest stars and a fine ambassador of the Naples techno sound worldwide.

Coming from a city with such a rich history in electronic dance music, Capuano has always worked with the highest standards in mind. Since his early days training as a sound engineer or as A&R for a prominent local label Unrilis, he has fully immersed himself in the scene around him, learning from the greats who have gone before and shaping these influences into something of his own.
Capuano’s story as a recording artist begins in 2009, with an EP on Markantonio’s label MKT. From his very first release he showed a special ability for expressing personality through his tracks and a knack for ear-worm melodies - the infectious 'Never Stop' on Truesoul being a fine example.
Having appeared on one of Adam Beyer's label Drumcode's compilations, Capuano released his first full EP on the widely influential imprint in 2013. The Inner City-referencing track 'Vertigo' was a hit with many of the world’s biggest DJs and a fixture in the year's Beatport charts. As was the dub techno-inspired groove of ‘Obsessed’, which followed as part of his 'Wilford EP' in 2015, Drumcode's milestone 150th release.
Capuano has always the relished the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded artists and this has made for some spectacular results. In 2014 he formed a live duo with his buddy Luigi Madonna called Black Division. They combined parts of their studios on-stage to explore their ideas of improvised, avant-garde techno to mesmerizing effect. More recently he has worked together with (and remixed) Jay Lumen for Footwork Audio and with Pleasurekraft on Kraftek, with each release showing an impressive range to his style.
Capuano's fascination for the art of DJing began on the dancefloor, where he learnt what it takes to control and manoeuvre a crowd’s energy - something he now does with great skill. Spending days and nights at the region’s legendary venues like Old River Park, he embarked on a journey that would soon take him to play in the very same booths.
Now Capuano is an in-demand act worldwide. Regular back-to-back sets with Luigi Madonna or Markantonio have helped make him the DJ he is today, as well as playing high profile events like Monegros, Sonar OFF Week and the Drumcode showcases. Embracing technology with a hybrid DJ setup, Capuano thrives on the creative possibilities of modern equipment and has become an expert at creating unforgettable moments on the dancefloor through looping and layering tracks. He ought to be seen live to be fully appreciated, as the atmosphere in the club and connection with the dancers is what inspires Capuano, from his formative experience right up until today.
