I decided to undertake a sound experiment, to very closely replicate my tinnitus with modular synthesizer. Turn it down so that you can barely hear the various elements. The tones should settle in just about where they are in my head when the room is very quiet. The dominant drone is a cluster of sine waves modulating about a whole-tone between a flat G and A (around ±A430 or so.) There is a chattering noise that slightly resembles AM radio voices, a very high cloud of pitches (about 10 kHz) and a few sine waves just slightly out of tune at octaves in the upper midrange (1.1 and 2.3 kHz.) I did this as an exercise, but also as an example for people who wonder what it would sound like if you could actually record someone's inner perceptions.

Along the way the DeepWarmth alias sprung up for his stuff with Beats including more experimental stuff concering Drone infused beatwork. Now making music as DeepWarmth and James Shain for all Ambient, he strives to showcase his love for Ambient. Pepo Galán is a composer, multi-Instrumentalist and producer born in Málaga. His compositions create a characteristic sound with micro-textures, noisy atmospheres and melancholic melodies loaded with beauty and elegance like dense sound mists. About 2 years ago I recorded this mix for the Tropical Mysteries series and in the end I was not satisfied with it despite the wonderful tracks. Too happy, too bright, too optimistic, too smooth? But I didn't want to give it up and some weeks ago I revised it again and added a few new tracks. And think reconciliation is possible. .... "and the garden reveals itself".
