The Limehouse Golem starring Olivia Cooke and Bill Nighy is an interesting romp through Victorian England and the hunt for a serial murderer before an innocent woman is put to death.

The Limehouse Golem

With the Halloween, Spoopy season upon us I though this would be a good film to start us off with. 
Now in it's 20th year, The Mummy is a comedy thriller starring Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz, Oded Fehr, John Hannah, and Arnold Vosloo. This is a well put together cast of actors and clearly they had fun making this movie that spawned 2 more sequels, a spin off franchise, and an animated series.

This 2009 movie that combined genres and ensnared the imagination, left under appreciated is now ten years old. I revisit this film as I return from a hiatus that was not expected at all.
