Amniote Editions teams up with Mala Junta to release “The Collective Capsule” in celebration of 5th anniversary of Berlin’s favourite queer event.

“The Collective Capsule” is a celebration and tribute to the unique Mala Junta and it’s impact on Berlin’s vibrant contemporary queer scene as well as a reflection of the core principles of these two collectives, which serve as a mirror for the society we want to push forward.

The package features a 12″ vinyl record composed of 4 tracks from Mala Junta’s residents Hyperaktivist, Yazzus, DJ Tool, and D.Dan, as well as two compilations featuring Roza Terenzi, Jensen Interceptor, Mohajer, Peachlyfe, Francois X, Narciss to name a few..

The Collective Capsule Compilation Vol. 2 emerges on Amniote Editions on 15th September.

Celebrating the sonic history of the label as part of the anniversary. Artists who have contributed to capsules throughout the five years of the project were invited to dig into the entire back catalog of releases and create their own unique take. The result is a beautifully diverse 12-track compilation that reinvents tracks, spanning from the first capsule that launched the label to the joint fundraiser compilations with Ute Records to the recent collaboration with the Berlin-based collective Mala Junta.

We are back agian after a quick break! This time we have none other then Carl Richter! Dance music fan since the late 90’s and an active part of the Malmö scene since  2012, Carl Richter has always been carrying the house flag high. Numerous clubs and projects at various locations over the years, and part of FAUNA Collctive (@faunacollective) that’s been throwing euphoric parties since 2016. Also co-founder of H.H.A.S. (https://soundcloud.com/hihatappreciationsociety). House in all colors should always be expected, and perhaps a dash of techno too.

Q: What made you start DJing?
A: I started at as the guy who burnt CD’s with dance music before I eventually realized I could mix the tracks myself as well. It just came out of passion and interest.

Q: Describe your style in three words.
A: Dance music only.

A: Didn’t go out a lot lately, sorry.
