Recorded live and fully improvised in Paris, it unfolds as a dialogue—each track responding to the last, building a shared message across borders and eras. We’re opening the month with something special: a new series of mixes!
The first guest is Luca Sorrentini, founder of Archivio Sorrentini, label consultant for Maledetta Discoteca and a full-time force behind the decks.
This set was recorded live during a late-night secret party in Rome and it’s just the first chapter in a series featuring the guests who shaped the spirit of Archivio.

MLiR blend organic and analog sounds, samples and field recordings into a universe that’s impossible to pin to one genre. Breaking through via releases on Studio Barnhus, MLiR craft rich, story-driven musical narratives that unfold across formats and contexts.

With support from artists such as DJ Harvey, Hunee, Antal, Axel Boman, Gilles Peterson and DJ Koze, MLiR have also delivered mixes for Dekmantel, NTS, Kiosk Radio and Worldwide FM. Their debut double LP landed in 2024 on Studio Barnhus, with a second album for Stratasonic Records due in 2025 and more releases to follow.
