2088 - Keep Singing (Extended)

Following ICONYC's spectacular ADE soiree, the brand returns to the Netherlands for its latest release, introducing Naji Arun's Elangeni EP. Aided by the arresting vocals of African singer Soul Star throughout its two tracks, our latest offering flexes a unique blend of futurism and spirituality in a cultural clash that transcends trends, inviting us to rejoice in its life-affirming celebration.

Strutting with a balanced blend of freshness and elegance, Naji Arun & Soul Star's "Elangani" runs over a tight frame as synthetic bubbles rise, attaching themselves to the singer's smokey vocal chops with the duo setting the ambiance for a most wondrous journey. As we become entranced in its hypnotic hue, Soul Star gifts us with a smoldering delivery that subdues all of our pains, washing over us like warm balsam. Expanding beyond the traditional confines of the dancefloor, "Elangani" is a soul-stirring work of art that feels alive at every twist and turn.

On the follow-up, "Mane", Naji Arun & Soul Star go for a meandering bassline, setting a darker frame as dusky vocals emerge from the shadows, filling the piece with unbridled energy. Tight in its hold, the track contorts across gritty mid-section sonics while tension rises before presenting us with a striking breakdown. Here, Soul Star's contagious guttural expressions interlock seamlessly with its rave-laced lead sequence for a spine-tingling thrill, resuming its imperious pace with maximum impact and dazzling flair.
