Following on from our last Intercities release we introduce another newcomer to the fold, this time in the shape of Empat.

Andrei Marcel aka Empat was born in Bucharest and spent his formative years blending hip-hop with electronics, eventually leading to his unconventional, experimental approach to music production. Empat’s releases have since appeared on the likes of Tzinah, Vivus, Verbreiten, Kootz and Minimadelic amongst others. 

In true Empat style “Reflections EP” perfectly showcases his trademark fusion of bass-heavy minimal and micro-house across four perfectly crafted tracks. Here you’ll find everything from deep afterparty vibes to discerning peak-time rollers across one very tasteful EP, even if we do say so ourselves.

Bryz's remix is more of an attempt to tame the author's style. He adopts a minimalist approach, with a deep bass, taking the universe built by dot3 and playing it in rewind as if time was flowing backwards towards simpler musical notes.
