just experimenting with the strings in the above soundfont. It's not a great piece, it has its moments, but it's not great haha
and it's beyond cliche lol, but yet again, it was only for the purpose of showing what the strings can do

Starlight | Robin M. Butler

Hi everyone! I'm Robin Butler, I have been composing since December 2013 and I have been a Finalist in the "National Young Composers Challenge" for two years in a row now in the Full Orchestra division(2016-2017).
and I am the winner of my division at the University of St. Luis Missouri Composition Competition - Orchestral.
I love writing for Orchestra, but I write for a bunch of different ensembles. I sit as the Principal Flute in our local Youth Orchestra, and I play in the "Illinois Valley Flute Ensemble" with the Alto Flute.

I also do 3D animation/modeling for fun :D
