Singer-songwriter Robin Benedict’s career is taking flight.  As this Hamilton, Ontario native released her Album, “Dance Away the Darkness,” in 2016 and she has recently pieced together her first full band project “Robin Benedict & The Weight”.  She is catching the eyes--and ears--of music lovers across the globe. She is getting ready to release a DNB remix of her song Stranger as a single with her first music video.  

Robin Benedict & The Weight is a collection of musicians rehearsing and getting ready to release the next record Live Off The Floor. Genres include Blues/Rock with a touch of Jazz influence. 

One might believe that it all began with a viral video of her singing Blondie’s “Heart of Glass” however, Robin Benedict has been singing her heart out, all of her life.

Her songwriting is a testament to her musical journey, with heartfelt lyrics that welcome you into her world: a world where Music is her vehicle to Freedom. 

With a power-house voice that has been compared to Janis Joplin, Robin Benedict writes raw lyrics and contagious melodies that reflect her positive outlook on life.
