Mollono.Bass tanzt in vielerlei Hinsicht aus der Reihe. Er schielt kaum auf aktuelle Trends, nutzt ungeniert alle Mittel der Klangerzeugung und schlägt so einen eindrucksvollen Spagat zwischen Tanzbarkeit und Tiefgang. Aber da ist noch etwas, das in seinen organischen Grooves mitschwingt und ihnen Leben einhaucht: Freundschaft. Die ist auf der ersten von insgesamt drei Auskopplungen zu seinem neuen Album nicht zu überhören. Die Freundschaft zu Seth Schwarz kommt in dessen virtuosem Violinspiel zum Ausdruck. Zusammen mit den dubbigen Beats und warmen Klangfarben von Mollono.Bass entsteht hier fließende Eleganz von geradezu symphonischem Ausmaß. Wunderbar harmonisch fügen sich auch die Gitarrenakkorde von Jörg Schwenzer zwischen die treibenden Rhythmen. With great honor we welcomed the guys from @ladsmusique to our family, early this year. As one half of the duo, Luc Angenehm, was our first guest in our Podcast series, he has more or less been with us from the very start, as we admired his music from the early steps. 

Now collaborating with the skillful Gary Pilz aka. Deep Suite, they form 'LADS' - an organic-groove project, that is quickly making some fuzz with their first release on @proton. With our next release, the guys were up to re-vision Pavel Svetlove & Alexandra Pride's "Waterfall" and they quite succeeded in all the things they went for. Opening up to a different rhythm and an all new melody creeping' up throughout the track. We are proud to finish the Premieres off with this one! Now it's all ready for a Happy New Year!

We welcome the Israeli duo Yoni Yarchi & Tal Tager back to Loot Recordings with open arms. This is a special release that takes a dive deep into the world of emotive, thoughtful dance music that includes superb remixes by Powel and Rancido.
“In Another Dimension” is a heartfelt journey that reminds of playful, carefree days of summer with distant sounds of joyful children in the background. The throbbing bass and tight percussive groove is sprinkled with gentle piano melodies and guitar riffs that compliment the swelling synth lines and overall mood of the track. This is a musical affair that will have you dreaming and lost on the dance floor.
The first remix comes from Powel, a quality purveyor of melodic deep house on labels such as All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep and Kindisch. He delivers a wonderful interpretation that includes elements of the original, but includes his musical prowess and keen sense of musical storytelling. Lush pads, violins, tinkling pianos and memorable melodic riffs will stay with you long after you’ve heard it, encouraging you to return to it over and over.
Rancido, whose productions have appeared on quality labels such as Innervisions, Connoisseur and Still Var Talent, is one of the rising talents on the Dutch scene. His remix centers around an afro-beat, deep house vibe. The energy and tension continuously builds as a slow rising synth growls and grinds throughout the track, making this one perfect for the big moments of the night.

The tenth rework in the series comes from Daniel Verhagen. His delicate chords and textured, organic take on electronic music have been a calming presence in the oleeva catalogue. This beautiful edit of Ed Carlsen's Otto has all of Daniel's trademark touches and we're so happy to finally be sharing it. The perfectly fitting photograph was snapped on 35mm film in Canada by the amazing Brie Frégeau.
