I remember airport coffee 
and the morning flight
I remember staying up 
on the bus all night
And deep down in the valley 
when we hitched a ride
Past the setting sun 
and up the mountainside 

Feeling every colour but blue
The desert night sky and you 

Some of us found ourselves 
some of us got lost
And the girls were all dancing
In the red orange sand
on the roof of Holy Land 

I remember waking up 
but not the coming down
I remember walking back 
when no one was around 
And out on the salt flats
where nothing ever grows
My mind started racing
