RIDGE RACER - Disco Ball (RoBKTA Buckle Up Edit)

Is certainly not a mystery that Ridge Racer Type 4 helped to shape my music style in some way; without that game, there wouldn't be any RoBKTA AT ALL.

Despite all though, I don't think I have ever been able to give its soundtrack proper justice remixing it... It took me various years but I am finally happy to share this song with all of you. Possibly one of my absolute favorites of all the soundtrack.

This version is possibly the best testament I could give to the best ever racing game soundtrack (to me at least) and I hope you'll all enjoy listening to it as much as I did working on it! 🏎️

This time I decided to go for a reinterpretation of my favorite tune off “Daytona USA” and, yes, it seems that I’m singing again. Vocals for this one took quite some time, don’t let the simplicity of the lyrics fool you: has been way more difficult than it seems. >_<
Plus, add some guitars and 90s dance grooves and you might be teleported back to Saturn… or Daytona, whatever one of the two.
