For the 74th release we have a bit of a family affair and here is the story why.
Back in 1999 Dhan Solo & Steve Tempo started a label called Free For A Girl Recordings which released their own music as the duo Varanassi.
Bobalino's first ever vinyl release was on Free For A Girl Recordings which was a remix of Mark Saunders track Strong with his band Axcess.
Dhan Solo later on joined forces with Bobalino to form the Breakbeat duo Curl & Dean.
Bobalino then started the label Break Wind Productions which is now releasing the 1st ever solo Curl release under the pseudonym Dhan Solo.
On this 4 track EP you will experience an assortment of styles, vibes & genres.
Love That is sonorous joyous euphoric broken beat banger with a celestial breakdown to send you bouncing to utopia and beyond.
On the remix Steve Tempo bumps us along with this deep bass low-slung proggy chugger with shimmering synths & hypnotic tones.
Working Saturday takes us on some glorious sunshine vibes with nostalgic pads and pianos flowing over a shuffling groove.
On the remix is Bobalino giving us a breakbeat work out of swings and turns with this beautiful rolling cinematic sasquatch bass groover with angelic twinkles and touches.

The Argentinian duo of Andrés Zacco and Sebastián Galante are following up on the first release of their collaboration, Ideoma, also released on Tresor Records. With Multirays, this burgeoning collaboration reveals a promising evolution, moving into more rhythmically diverse environments and playful structures.

With lush pads, gritty textures, and punchy drums, Horizonz is airy stripped-back electro at its finest. Something you'd hear during the earlier part of an open-to-close set.

The new born label called Magnetism Digital is focusing on a still prospering subgenre: progressive breaks & breaks. The start is quite impressing, as the spanish hero carefully selected 15 of his latest progressive breaks favourite and mixed it into a 92 minute long compilation, to show his love and passion for music and promote the unique essential of floating lush melodies on non 4/4 beats. 
As we take a look on the tracklist it will only contain the allstars of the scene, artists like Faskil, LoQuai, Digital Department, Fake Truth, Inner Ornament, Omauha, Rick Tedesco, Viktor K and ofcourse Ruben himself. So, get prepare for more breaks in your face! - Greyloop

Reshaping Reality

This is the 2nd mix in my 'Variations On A' tribute series paying attention to (The Man Like) Sasha.

With this mix my intention was to mirror not only just Sasha's track selection but his mixing style also.

The mix kicks off with the Loquai remix of his belting track 'Cut Me Down' which immediately invokes the atmosphere of what is to follow. Namely a blend of serious driving proggy, breaks and deep dopeness. Big respect to Abdomen Burst also, I have included a couple of my favourite tracks of his including the last epic finale.

There are old tracks and brand new tracks to keep it varied and I hope it is enjoyed by the people that take the time to listen to it.

Digital Department - Beyond Boundaries Pulse Benefit

Rob started getting passionate about house music from his early teens. He was initially tuning into Stu Allan's mix show at weekends where he would begin to educate his virgin ears with what i would describe as audible magic. Rob had a DJ's ethos from day one as he would live record the tunes he liked onto cassette whilst doing on the fly edits to remove the advert breaks.
 
As his knowledge and experience of music increased, he found himself becoming naturally inquisitive about the technical side of mixing and was fascinated at how an atmosphere can be manipulated, altered and changed just by spinning plastic and tweaking a few nobs and faders. This eventually lead him to getting a pair of Technics 1210's about 15 years ago and the rest is history.
 
In the beginning his main passion was for old skool and classic house from early 90's, however his musical taste has since matured to genres including progressive house, electro and breakbeat.
 
Plenty of DJ's and producers have been a huge influence on Rob and you will hear a lot of their material featured on his mixes. Rob would like to take this opportunity to drop a few names and pay his respects to the following:-
