My first piece I wrote at uni, First time recording in about 10 years.
A metal rock piece, a little progressve. Big chorus with atmospheric guitars. Satriani inspired guitar licks.

Twilight Imperium

An assignment I had to do at uni: 
"To develop an idea or Theme as a song and then develop it into variations in any way I wish as another song.
Thus, this is the second piece inspired by the first piece - "The Glass Planet 1".
This one is more upbeat and raw and in a rock, song like format, where is the first is in a cinematic, atmospheric style.

The Glass Planet 2

An assignment I had to do at uni: 
"To develop an idea or Theme as a song and then develop it into variations in any way I wish as another song.
Thus, this is the first piece of the Two.
This first piece is cinematic, atmospheric and genre fusing in style.
The second piece is very different but uses all the themes of the first in a completely different way, you or may not notice.
Either way, have a listen to both!

The Glass Planet 1

This track is pretty much exactly what the tags say. It's lead by electric guitar, inspired by Steve Vai and the other Gods. It's progressive in nature switching all your modes and poly rhythms around.
Very fun to play! hope you enjoy

The Green Planet

This was a piece I did at uni inspired by Plini, although not at all sounding like his stuff haha...
Just experimenting with atmospheric sounds mixed with heavy beats and heavy syncopation's.

Steady3

This is a major work I did at uni just recently (december 2017)
It is a long form piece, instrumental with the experimental idea of mixing cinematic music with metal and progressive rock elements.

I also set myself the challenge of writing this as if it would be played live. So the strings had to all have proper notation and be fully playable. I also added the challenge of not having any synthesises in this piece and only one of each instrument playing at the one time.

I also have a full 280 page score if anyone is interested in looking at it? :P

A Rift In Time

Studying Music at The Australian Institute of music. 
Majoring in Composition and Production.
I am a Multi instrumentalist who listens to and plays a lot of progressive music mostly in Rock, metal and jazz genres. 
I have a strong interest in film music and hope I can use my skills to implement my composition work within film.
I'm still learning a lot about mixing and production so these songs are not anywhere near great mixes.. Although, I hope for now I make up for it in my Writing and playing.
