Askham & S.Tonkin are hosts of the Construct show on Sydney based station, Nomad Radio and curators of the global guest mix series dubbed ‘Constructions’ - a series that brings together a wide spectrum of underground electronic artists within the dance music ecosphere, both local and international.
The duo have supported the likes of Djrum and Pariah, while their Construct brand has hosted parties for artists such as Special Request, Peverelist, Addison Groove and more. They also share a fascination for the sounds of highly abstract and hypnotic techno, crunchy, driving electro, and the percussion-locked grooves of UK bass music.

Assembler Code programs a unique sound which combines hard hitting machine noise with funky percussion on Sci-fi soundscapes - blasting out a modern take on the classic electro and techno sound - while behind the decks, he delivers a wide range sounds ranging from classic Electro, drum breaks to hard hitting techno; Maximum transfer speed, straight to the minds on the dance floor.

Review: Illektrolab - Temporal Interference EP - Brokntoys BT75. 

Dystopian “Temporal Interference EP” sees Jason McCracken returning to Brokntoys to deliver a perfect follow up to his highly acclaimed “Paranoid Android” debut EP on the UK imprint back in 2019. As usual, don’t expect a moody journey through lazy atmosphere from the US wizard as this future classic promises you some irresistible robotic movements on the linoleum. The four tracker opens with Sci-Fi monster “Android Humanoid”, a haunting electro song made of pounding beats, intricate sororities and menacing transmissions from outer space. Enhanced by a heavy yet warm bassline, this pure mayhem straight out of a Battlestar Galactica episode is guaranteed to damage any woofers thanks to its Cylon like vocals. Ace! 

The title track coming next signs a tense and scary downtempo cut. Succeeding to Rastafarian voices, low infra bass mixed with bubbling distortions mute the tune into a pure electro Ravey anthem, gloomy as Hell. You’ll be doomed! Merciless killing machinery “In The Tube” on the flipside goes deeper into the realm, exploring the dark, hostile and sinusoidal meanders of your mind. Hammering 808 rhythm combined with insidious analogical madness bring to this percussive slaughter another spatial dimension. Top notch! Last but not the least, dense “Say Robot” concludes the EP with an unexpected groovy approach, showcasing unique modulations and filtering techniques over a much anticipating hit. Available in both vinyl and digital formats, this must have EP serves up a relentless sonic rampage in ILLEKTROLAB’s typical signature made of low frequencies and cold distortions. Save your copy while you can as the 12” appears to be strictly limited.

Alboren Bani, aka D3070, was born in Durres (Albania) in 1990, then moved permanently to Southern Italy in 1997.

He began frequenting clubs and dance halls as a true clubber from an early age, making his own culture of electronic music.
In 2013, after his first visit to the city of Berlin and renowned clubs such as Tresor and Berghain, the desire to collect vinyls and try his hand at learning the art of DJing sprang up in him.

Only in 2018 did he decide to interface with the world of production as a need to express what most represents him in the vast world of electronic music.

He released his first release, Deep Impact, with 1Ø PILLS MATE's sub-label, Cyberdome, in August 2021, and then Space Invader with mother label Lobster Theremin in October 2021.
Just two months later follows Love This Party on UTTU's sub-label, Dance Traxx, and in August 2022 The Fate Of Humanity for Science Cult. More material already lined up for the coming months, so better keep an eye on this guy. Hot stuff!

Electro specialist Sinitsin invites us deep into another world on his new EP for LDI Records. On Dreams of Ashes Sinitsin unveils his passion for science fiction and the work of Philip K. Dick (PKD). His four original tracks come backed with standout remixes from Umwelt and Privacy.

Andrey Sinitsin started out playing drums in various rock bands at a young age. But his love of experimentation and exploration took him into the world of electronic music, where he now cooks up his own fusions of IDM, techno and electro.

El nuevo lanzamiento de FEMUR viene firmado por el dúo helvético SAVAGE GROUNDS, paladines del sonido sucio, crudo y miserable.  “Es un flash electrónico” es un auténtico ejercicio de inmediatez y frescura, combinando los paisajes a medio tiempo con estimulantes ráfagas aceleradas. El disco está compuesto por 3 temas originales y por un remix de Esplendor Geométrico que eleva el original llamado “Última línea” a otra dimensión.
 
The new FEMUR release features the Swiss duo SAVAGE GROUNDS, agents of a dirty, raw and miserable sound. “Es un flash electrónico” is a true exercise of proximity and freshness combining mid-tempo landscapeses with stimulating accelerated bursts. The release consists of 3 original tracks and a remix by Esplendor Geométrico, which elevates the original called “Última línea” to another dimension.

The year 1982 says everything. Martial law in Poland, Planet Rock in NY arises. The same year and month when this electrofunk anthem was composed, in the polish city - Szczecin - in the army hospital Przemek Kuduk aka Electromonter aka Robodrum is born. First music fascination is "Bad" from Michael Jackson's album which he replays endlessly. In the early 90"s, young kid seeks musical pleasure with Technotronic, Cmc Music Factory, Snap, 2 Unlimited, Army Of Lovers, Eurythmics, Vanilla Ice, Kriss Kross hits. Half of the 90's is also a change of musical intrests when he pays attention to polish rap scene and the hip hop culture. It exerted huge influence on him. First baggy jeans, electric boogie and rhymestering. After first solo rap acts in 98-99 he becomes member of hip-hop band Style Domain. After few concerts and changes he comes to a conclusion that there is something else that interests him in music most. Although his adventure with rap last till 2003, at the turn of century Przemek discoveres electro-funk - starting from making up for lost time with films such as Wild Style, Beat Street, Breakin, Electro Shock and ending on the official and indyvidual anointing by grandmaster Afrika Bambaataa. Even though Przemek started to construct his first electro bits since 2001, not until the meeting with Bambaata when he found favour with him and making of music became an ideal that is worth of sin. Next steps of his career were to buy 2 decks plus mixer and trying out himself in dj'ing. Electromonter aka Robodrum is trying to mix breakbeat with electro bass which he can expand in Szczecin's clubs (Alter Ego, Mezzoforte, Crossed). His producer achievements is over a dozen tracks. For Robodrum the most important is quality not quantity, which is reflected in little amount of his publications. The effect of his producer work is The Message album, publicated in polish label Elektropunkz Recordz. Interests? 808 bass, robots, past, present, armageddon!
