Audiojack’s 90s Dreamin’ EP samples some throwbacks to their youth, when hip-hop featured prominently on the speakers. “We made 90s Dreamin’ as a secret weapon for the end of our own DJ sets, and after a year of airplay and tracklist requests, it’s time to release it. No Biggie is another familiar throwback we made to get the dancefloor moving earlier in a set.”

After releasing Louie Vega & The Martinez Brothers ‘Let It Go’ earlier this year, Defected now deliver a package of new mixes to continue the longevity of this irresistible summertime jam. The original record, a homage to NYC’s rich Latin American dance culture, was as slick, soulful and groove-filled as expected from two generations of the city’s finest, unsurprisingly catching the attention of house sensation Honey Dijon, who provides a remix on the package. A flawless example of her Berlin meets NYC style, Honey’s contribution has a clubbier feel, as short bursts of Marc E. Bassy’s vocal flicker over rippling synths and a driving bassline. This package also features the previously unreleased TMBLV Vox Dub, a new mix that blends elements of the original and the dub, maintaining the vocal to a more stripped-back effect, with the Latin-infused instrumentals and addictive bassline still in full play.
