Robonia started out up in Akureyri, northern Iceland. and has made it's way to Oslo, Norway now. It all started when Heiðar (drums) wrote some songs with Dagný (singer). An ambitious project happening soon joined by Hreinn (guitar). Later Robonia moves to Norway. Here Haffy (guitar) joins the band and a year later after some deep searching
Nicco (bass) is hired. Workin hard and writing hard Robonia is now working on material for a first album, and looking for ways to spread the music. 
The band draws inspiration from bands such as; Avenged Sevenfold, Deftones, System of a Down, KoRn,Foo Fighters, Björk the list goes on. The sound of the band is brand new and is nothing like the usual black metal scene of Norway, complex skullbreaking rythms mixed with beautiful vocals Robonia is never bored and allways slamming!
