Dear listener,
finally this year, I managed to see the man burn!
In the weeks and months before Burning Man a lot of my friends kept on telling me how amazing it was and most of them would conclude their eulogy with something like: „Burning Man changed my life“.
Well, I can not certainly say that Burning Man changed my life, but what I know for sure is that my life changed afterwards ;-)
Very glad that I made it to this far away place and I hope to return next year.
I want to thank Lio and everybody at our nice camp and of course the robots who invited me to let their hearts beat according to my pace. It has been truly amazing. 
The only thing I really had to struggle with, that Sunday morning on the Playa, was the sunlight that made it almost impossible to spot anything on the display, so please please please you geeks out there, come up with something that can work in sunlight, because we all love the sun!

The middle of the week is here, the body knows it, the mind knows it and the soul knows it too… and the three of them agree that it´s time to go out at night and give it all dancing and get lost in music… and that´s what we all did when Acid Pauli took over after the energizing journey from Jeniffer Cardini, to take us in another kind of Journey… A journey too complex to put into words and too beautiful to not to talk about it… enough talk… let´s enjoy the journey again...

Nico Stojan‘s rise within the Berlin house scene started with a residency inside the famed walls of Bar 25.

When Bar 25 closed its doors, new ones had already begun to open, and his deep, almost pensive take on Berlin night music had him spending his weekends playing clubs such as Panoramabar, Watergate and of course, Bar 25‘s spawn, Katerholzig.

A classically trained clarinette player, Nico Stojan often surrenders its sound live, weaving it through the lusty mood of his sets – it was only natural that he evolved from DJ to producer and soon the Berlin underground were being treated to his own releases on labels such as Highgrade, Connaisseur and Upon You Records.

Collaborating with other artists has been an important role on his journey - leading to projects and remixes for the likes of Philip Bader, NU, Pele, Acid Pauli and Andri to name a few. With his European successes having taken him all over the continent, Nico‘s fate pushed him onto an international platform. Venturing to New Zealand, he has taken bookings all over the Pacific ocean whilst being the right man for the job in supporting international acts when on tour.

One of the dreamiest realists that you'll get to know, he understands that magic hides within our reach, you just have to pull it from the dust.

A full week of breathtaking sunrises, hugging greets, beautiful art, randomness in the biggest sense of the word, cold nights, odd sleeping patterns and 8 days of laughter, love, smiles, tears, energy, sensory overload, dust everywhere, beautiful music and support from familiar faces and new amazing human beings which i can now call my genuine friends. A big THANXXX to Robot Heart for having me. Playing the bus monday morning 4AM after a week of deep playa adventures was the icing on the cake. Dear Listeners, 
It’s been overwhelming how many of you have written and asked for this year’s Fusion set.  One person even counted the weight of the tears he had shed every time he came here, and found the set was not online yet. So why did it take so long? 
 
It was a very intense four hour set at the Palapa, and it was a very intense week before that. To go back and revisit those moments required quite a bit of strength, which I didn’t have until now. Obviously the intensity of revisiting those moments at the Palapa had a lot to do with the death of our dear friend Bas Engels. 
You might think that I'm loco for saying this, but I know Bas was there with us, celebrating life and death, guiding me through the set and even creating some magic, when my computer froze and I had to restart it, while improvising on a drum machine. Normally the recording would be lost then, but this time it was just there as if nothing had happened. Without him you wouldn’t be able to listen to this now. 
I want to thank Bas for the special magic he created on so many occasions.  Also I want to thank Eule and his team for their foresight and faith to pull me slightly out of my comfort zone, and into this perfect Sunday morning setting. And, of course, I also want to thank all of you, because 
music sounds better with you.
