Watching the burners follow us on their lit up bikes, dust swirling all around, with the majestic Black Rock City as a backdrop completely blew me away.

I still get goosebumps all over, when thinking about it.

There truly is no place like Burning Man, a HOME for people who breathe LOVE.

This special moment deserved my very best, so a set full of my own unreleased originals is what I played! and off to what will always be remembered as one of the most incredible experiences of my life: My first burn! A crystal like cluster of Lighthouses ranging from 6 to 60 foot tall and some leaning as much as 20 degrees. Inspired by the juxtaposition of creating a destination of fun and shelter by something that is meant to warn you of danger. This adult jungle gym aims to become a destination where participants come to seek shelter, play, meetup with friends and navigate the inland sea that is the Playa. At night the Lighthouses will truly come alive with fire, light, and a few other surprises.

This is a live recording from Behrouz set at "The House Of Mandy", which took place at Kater Blau. He played right after a phenomenal set from Raz Ohara and he kept the "Playa-Vibes" elegant and with a meaning for the next two hours. Chill out and enjoy his idea of "Deep Desert House" in the heart of Berlin. We were celebrating his birthday in the same night and you can feel the positive festive vibes all over his set. Enjoy! 

BEHROUZ, our good friend and longterm fella is well known in the scene, easily recognized both on the Playa where he has held a highly coveted residency on the Robot Heart bus, as owner / curator of Do Not Sit events, including his own club in Miami Beach. He is well known all over the world having been a household name for those who truly know what's up for well over two decades now. An artist who has seen nearly every inch of the globe as he has shared his music with millions from continent to continent, his name and reputation proceeds him. A DJ's DJ in every sense of the word, Behrouz is a favorite amongst many of the most talented artists and producers on the planet. He is a true story teller and a magician behind the decks evoking powerful emotions through his sound.

I’m happy to release my recording from Sandbox Festival in Hurghada Egypt. I always love playing the Middle East. The sights, sounds, tastes, and smells are very different than my home, all of which represent one of my favorite aspects of DJing: getting enjoy the world’s diversity. Beyond that, I’ve found that the people of the region are an incredibly friendly and passionate bunch, so playing a festival that attracts the heads from many across the region was special for me.

The Sandbox mainstage was a big one - these stages are sometimes tricky for me as I feel pressured to go for the jugular and bang out a medley of big drops for those hands in the air moments, but I resisted the pressure and went instead for undulation between the deep moments building to the big ones while maintaining a steady groove through. Hope that idea came through, hope you enjoy the set, and can’t wait to make my way back to the Middle East!
