Hello friends! Here is the recording of my very first set at Stereo Montréal

A place that truly feels like (((home))) 

A room that means so much to many of us and that sparks wonders for those who haven't been yet. A space where we can be free, all together. A spaceship that uses vibrations to bend space and time. A temple where music becomes alive.

It was an honour to have the chance to play in this room for 11 hours to the most amazing group of humans. It's been a dream of mine for so many years to have the chance to play there and it's one of most meaningful moments I ever lived. Stars were aligned, the collective energy was truly beautiful and I am happy to be able to share with you the soundtrack of that night. 

Thanks to all the @stereonightclub team for the incredible work to co-create such a sacred space for music. 

A special thanks to Luc for the cosmic visuals during the night.

And thanks to all of you family and friends who joined the journey.

Isaiah Martin has been an integral part of programming the music for PlayAlchemist for years and is our Music Maestro for the annual Alchemist Ball. This year he invited Marieme and Snow Raven to perform live with him and the magic inside the pyramid was electric! Their set was completely unrehearsed and a pure flow state of music. Taking you back to that pure state of ALCHEMY!

Kora is the musical project of Mikael B Robillard, a planet Earth citizen with his family tree rooted in Québec, Canada. Ask yourself: can you describe what your morning will be like tomorrow? Not just the part when you, say, wake up, brush your teeth and go about your business. That’s not really describing, that’s just listing or rather predicting your morning routine. Just try to describe your morning: what will you first silhouette in the darkness? How will the sun show up and in what colors will the clouds be lit up that day? Which parts will receive the first rays of the new rising sun and how will your body start to feel the warmth? When will the curtains let in natural light and start moving slowly themselves? Describing something you have yet to see is a bit hard, obviously, but @Powel has somehow managed to do that. His podcast is about all the mornings we have lived and all those we are yet to live. All of them. Without exception.

P.S. Cyberiada [sɪber’jada] is the name of a series of satirical-philosophical stories by Polish author Stanislaw Lem. The word "Cyberiadа" - which is the name of a woman - is mentioned in the entire series only once.

Lost Desert - Robot Heart - Burning Man 2018

I’m happy to release my recording from Sandbox Festival in Hurghada Egypt. I always love playing the Middle East. The sights, sounds, tastes, and smells are very different than my home, all of which represent one of my favorite aspects of DJing: getting enjoy the world’s diversity. Beyond that, I’ve found that the people of the region are an incredibly friendly and passionate bunch, so playing a festival that attracts the heads from many across the region was special for me.

The Sandbox mainstage was a big one - these stages are sometimes tricky for me as I feel pressured to go for the jugular and bang out a medley of big drops for those hands in the air moments, but I resisted the pressure and went instead for undulation between the deep moments building to the big ones while maintaining a steady groove through. Hope that idea came through, hope you enjoy the set, and can’t wait to make my way back to the Middle East!
