Just the other week we had no idea who DJ AA was, where he came from, or what kind of music he made. It wasn't until a late night listening session that we stumbled upon Bondax's post for his latest edit of their track "All Inside" with Alice Jemima's "No Diggity" cover. This discovery led to a mass listening to his entire repertoire. Needless to say we were instantly hooked on his sunny and positive vibes. His taste is impeccable and his edits are guaranteed to put a smile on your face. We asked AA to make an Exclusive Mix for Earmilk to share some of his favorite tracks as well as his latest edit of Ellie Goulding's "You, My Everything" with Aaliyah's classic "One in a Million".

Surprising us with all the songs we didn't know we wanted to hear, DJ AA, a Middle East-based Music Consultant and DJ, toys with interesting samples, pairings and remixes, seamlessly blending the likes of Bondax, Alunageorge, Ben Pearce, RAC, AAliyah, Maverick Sabre, Ellie Goulding and Daft Punk (just to name a few). We'd be surprised if this mix doesn't have at least one of your favorites on it. The best part of the mix is without a doubt the beautiful reality check that comes about 11 minutes in, as AA incorporates "The Final Speech by Thomas Jack ft. Adrian Symes," reminding us that we are all part of this club called humanity and that it means something deeply important. DJ AA brings us the opportunity to dance, chill and feel soulful as we picture ourselves in some tropical paradise, sand between our toes, a slight breeze against our skin, ocean in sight - it's enormity prompting us to do whatever our desires and the moment call for. Solid Steel (5th December) It's a huge show this week as we welcome back Diplo to Solid Steel. 10 years ago Diplo released his album Florida on Big Dada and played his first UK gig in an intimate venue at the monthly Solid Steel club night (and twice more that year). For my latest mix, I really wanted to go in a different direction from what you'd usually hear from me. With Valentine's Day and City Hearts LA coming up this Saturday, I wanted to dedicate a mix entirely to what I think is the most important thing in the world, Love. There's a reason Love is the main theme that drives our festivals and Desert Hearts​ Records. Our community has been able to open the hearts and minds of so many incredible people and our goal is to ultimately share that message of love with the rest of the world.  <3

So this mix is dedicated to all of you lovers out there. Whether you're single or in a relationship, if you have love to give I believe the universe will return that love to you. Some of these songs are new and some are old, but they've all had a profound impact on my life over the years and I wanted to put something together that really makes you feel. "My favorite set that we played this year at Burning Man was at Robot Heart. It was probably the only set that I really prepared for with Walshy Fire.

I'll be honest I was a lil nervous because I really wanted to make it run with energy for the full two hours and our typical audience isn't that used to a classic dub and reggae set. Myself and the whole RH crew wanted to create something really special for a sunset party and keep it true to the theme but to still feel like a Robot Heart set. The Robot Heart crew had told me that they wanted and entire set that sounded like "Major Lazer - Get Free" and I had to think hard about it. To keep the vibe going for two hours and for that record to be the climax was a challenge but I realized if you stick to your guns for the whole party and steer the audience in a direction and keep them with you, then anything is possible.  I hope you love it.. It's perfect for a party on a Sunday afternoon and represents a different side of Major Lazer"

This year at Burning Man we were gifted an incredible opportunity by our friend The Festival Guy to perform a secret set at Camp Ego Trip as Daft Punk - complete with helmets and all! We had 45mins to put our spin on things and somehow managed to keep it a total secret this entire time. Easily one of the coolest experiences we've had after 3 years at the Burn and being DP fans for as long as we can remember. Big love to our funk brotha GRiZ for rocking live Sax with us at the very end. Enjoy :)
