This set was recorded live in Playa Venao, Panama for Weekend 2 of Reactor Venao festival. I played from 1:00-4:00am inside of the Reactor project and was really feeding off of the high energy from the dancefloor during the entire 3 hours -- it was such an epic and unforgettable night. I had the chance to meet the Robot Heart crew twelve years ago in NYC for a giant Halloween party where I played on the ‘copy bus’. 

That was a life changing moment somehow. I realized my music could be the soundtrack for a world that’s beyond our imagination, far from my Paris studio.

In 2023, I come full circle by performing at Burning Man for the very first time with my partner Liset Alea. 

This Thursday sunset set was a moment we’ll savour for years to come.

In this live recording you’ll hear: Liset singing 30 feet above the ground from inside the blinking heart, the voices of multiple colorful creatures dancing all around us, the massive Know Audio custom sound system rumbling under our feet, the laughter of unicorns, dragons and shamans… and if you really listen carefully you might even hear the buzz of a billion stars shimmering above our head.

Memories of Robot Heart founder Geo carried us along the set. His legacy will live forever.

Playing on the Robot Heart bus at Burning Man is a dream I’ll never get tired of living. Robot Heart is a constant source of inspiration to me and so many others! Grateful for the opportunity to play on the bus again. 

This year (2024), my set time was Monday Morning at 7:00 am so I wanted to prepare something special for the beginning of an unforgettable week. 

I decided to play a live set filled with most of the Edits/Remixes I’ve made along the years (for example: Edits/Remixes I’ve made of Alice Coltrane, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Michelle Gurevich, Acid Pauli, Nicolas Jaar, Fred Again, etc…). 

I honestly couldn’t be happier with the result of this experiment!
