Wow time flies… I played my very first dj set in front of a crowd exactly 25 years ago. I used to practice in the basement of a youth club every week because I couldn’t afford my own turntables. When playing my first gigs I was shaking and was so intimidated I could barely speak. Honestly, it’s still the same even if I’m able to hide it now. If I wouldn’t feel this nervousness and excitement any longer I would let it go and quit. 
Since we are still not able to celebrate properly I prepared a podcast for you with my current favorite slow tracks. 
I think it’s perfect for the upcoming summer vibes, for listening at home and dreaming about festivals 🐈💫🌈❤️🦄

"Returning to BM after 3 years was intense and instantly reminded me, how peculiar it is to play out in the desert. A constant trial of strength with the forces of nature. 
On Friday night my set at Mayan Warrior was scheduled. I took a quick disco nap before but fell into a deep sleep. Fortunately Chris Schwarzwälder had decided to accompany me. He woke me up and as soon as we started riding our bikes towards the playa we found ourselves in a whiteout which means no visible horizon and you can forget about finding an art car in the deep playa even with massive laser-rays that cut through dust and darkness. Thanks to Chris' navigation skills we finally came across the Mayan Warrior art car right in time 🙏🏼🥺😍 Here is what happened next…"

My first time at the impressive 'City Of Gods' Halloween celebration in New York City. I fell in love with Halloween in New York City and intend to make this an annual trip moving forward. 

NYC you are quite wonderfully ridiculous :) 
The journey took me 29 hours of travel to make it in time for the show, but it was all well worth it. Hope you love the power warehouse journey.

This was a spontaneous additional set at the Bosburcht festival in which I was able to show up without pressure, preparation or expectations. An opportunity to simply show up and share from a place of trust amongst a loving and welcoming crowd of proper ravers. As a result, it was one of my favourite sets in recent time.  Not only in terms of the musical result, but rather in how I felt during the process. To experience the level of harmony and flow amongst all beings inside the room at this tempo was truly a gift that I cherish. Thank you to the Noodle Lounge and all the beautiful creatures who joined me on this journey. See you next time Bosburcht.

Face Machine inhabits the blurred threshold between the human and the synthetic, where identity becomes fluid and is constantly rewritten. Drifting between melodic techno, underground trance and electro-pop, the album unfolds like a network of unstable selves - mirrors folding into mirrors, names dissolving into signals. Vocals shift between male and female, merging with abstract textures until the human voice becomes something unbound, a mutable instrument suspended between body and machine. Each track carves its own passage through luminous, volatile atmospheres, yet all are tethered by a shared sonic architecture of detuned oscillators, layered melodic counterpoint, and synthesis timbres that breathe with organic motion.

These twelve tracks move through states of emergence and disappearance - memory scattering, identity refracting, presence dissolving into signal. Wordless chants, whispered fragments, and spectral harmonies drift like residues of selves that never fully arrive. Within this landscape, rhythm and texture intertwine: polyrhythmic layers build and collapse, melodic threads blur into complex harmonic tides, and shifting tonalities open portals into new emotional terrain. Face Machine doesn't offer resolution; instead, it lingers in the spaces where perception falters and technology reshapes what it means to exist. It is an album of thresholds and transformations - a meditation on how we become, lose, and reinvent ourselves in an age where even our voices can belong to someone, or something, else.

It was Wednesday night, and anticipation was high. Robot Heart and Mayan Warrior were to link up for the very first time in Burning Man history. So despite it being my third Burn, and second time playing the bus, it felt like my first time all over again. There is truly nothing like seeing the surreal orgy of lights from atop the bus; its glowing, pulsing heart serving as a beacon admidst the entropy. A sea of neon bicycles followed us until we found the perfect spot in the desert. Suddenly the crowd kept multiplying as the Mayan Warrior converged. The energy in the air was palpalbe and increasing in intenisty by the minute. At one point after mixing a record I looked back up to see my surroundings and realized our meeting place had completely transformed into another dimension. It was the beginning of one of the most intense nights of my life. And I am extremely grateful to have been a part of that mystical experience. Thank you to Robot Heart and everybody involved in creating the magic. I will never forget it.

Through a sleepless tantrum of being lost in a place inside myself of wonder, mystery, and adrenaline; that was my state of mind a month before I realized I was actually going (last minute as always), as all my other priorities quickly seemed to dissolve and I focused purely on this set of music as a gift for my first burning man… performing this set which came together so suddenly and fluidly (rarely happens like that with me and took me back to more naive studio days) live with Robot Heart during the burning of the man shook me to the core with liberating inspiration and was such a unique and uplifting experience it feels like I almost betray the memory each time I try to explain it rashly. There really is nothing else in the world like the collective work ethic, art and communal push forward in Black Rock City during burning man. The coming together of people from all walks of life making art for the sake of art and sharing their crafts and visions openly empowering the strange and the fantastic into the norm and the very real. A phenomenon and celebration of human creativity and science throughout the extremities of nature and conservationism. None of these experiences or music would have come to fruition were it not for the patience and guidance of my close friends Gunita, Nikita, and Benjamin. Also, the accompanying musicians and my brothers who performed with me and took the music to the next level including the all mighty Tomas Barfod on drums and Jeppe Kjellberg on electric slide of WhoMadeWho and the very talented Alexey Etcheverry on violin.  Thank you to the entire Robot Heart crew for the mindblowing creative force they’ve put together in the desert and for inviting me to perform at such a remarkable, liberating and otherworldly moment during the Burn. Happy to share this set and memory and I hope you enjoy it.

If you were at this years burning man you know how incredible it was. It needs no explanation nor can we explain it in words. You felt the somehow elevated vibe in the air that somehow made every cell in all of our bodies just get in some sort of beautiful flow. This year we made a special edit which you’ll hear at the end of the set made especially for our sunrise set at robot heart. During this moment at sunrise, we all laughed and even cried together. This is what we live for, these moments on top of the Robot Heart bus.

Returning to this utopia in the desert is a dream each year. Having the Sunday slot in my mind for weeks had me thinking I would take it easy leading up to it. I was mistaken. Together with Britta, the Happy Camper gato's and our favourite Robot LEN10 we roamed the desert like there was no tomorrow. Ended up having one of the best weeks of my life and happened to be my perfect warm up to play Robot Heart.  Surrounded by some of my favourite humans on the planet the set came together by relying on ease, love and gratitude.  

Much love to all the shiny disco balls dancing all over the bus & the Playa for the warm hearted support and off course the robots for having me and welcoming me and my friends with open arms. I loved it.
