It has been 10 years since I started procrastinating about whether or not to do anything with my music. It was always the annoying combination of cost plus stupidly wanting to make money from it. 19 year old me was an idiot. For the last 10 years I’ve been my only fan, listening to my own songs wondering “Should I or shouldn’t I?” The second I decided not to care about trying to make money it started falling into place. So I have a limited run of 50 physical on green cassette tapes as well as a zine based on the final track and an in-joke also 10 years in the making that I am releasing AS WELL AS putting it online for free or donate as you wish. It’s instrumental with audio samples from movies I love, film being the biggest influence on these tracks but also hence the reason I do not wish to try and officially sell the music as I technically and legally can't. But I am happy to accept any donations to go towards the production of the physical product plus the zine or just out of the kindness of your music-loving heart. I will also be selling a very limited run of the tapes and zine pack online, the rest being distributed locally around the Melbourne area.
It’s electronic music I guess but it’s got a bit of everything in it. Influences from stuff I used to love & still love. Mostly from various film composers like John Carpenter, Hans Zimmer, Christopher Drake and Junkie XL plus bands like The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, The Music, Metallica, Rammstein, Neil Young, White Stripes. I’m just dropping names now to sound cool. And you know what? I’ll say it, I think there’s a couple bangers in there.
