Tempest + Bass Bot

Exactly one year after his 2020 release entitled Dunklewissenschaft, DVS NME returns with a collection of new tracks that were produced between late 2020 and early 2021. This 25-track album is another obvious thematic tribute, only this time he chose to pay homage to the writing of the socialist revolutionary Karl Marx. Every song title is a nod to the German philosopher's economic and political theory. Even the album cover borrows directly from Marx, re-adapting the original cover of the 1848 pamphlet entitled 'The Communist Manifesto'.

This album, as with the last, relies heavily on the sounds of classic Electro machines like Mono/Poly, MS-20, SH-101, Jupiter-8, Juno-106, SH-2, System 100, Juno 60, JX-3P, TB-303, Polysix, TR-606, OB-8, TR-808, ARP Odyssey, as well as some contemporary additions to his studio like Hydrasynth, System 8, Novation Peak, Minilogue, SE-02, and Microkorg.

DVS NME is the man behind the weekly radio show/daily blog called 'Dark Science Electro' and has been a dedicated contributor for the Electro community for the last 11 years. He shares his love of Electro music by posting Electro-affiliated news, art, mixes, albums, memes, concerts, tracks, gear, and more. This album is available for $15 USD.

DVS NME is an Electro music producer/deejay aand Post Punk enthusiast living in Colorado. He runs a daily blog called 'Dark Science Electro' which features news, live sets, guest mixes, upcoming shows, premieres as well as a weekly radio show on Intergalactic FM. 

The weekly radio show has aired since 2010 and it currently broadcasts on Intergalactic FM, every Friday at 20:00 GMT.

With production techniques ranging from video games to sequencers, from MPC's to software and spanning a multitude of genres, he has collaborated with the likes of Franck Kartell, Das Muster, MetaComplex, Koova, Faceless Mind, Komarken Electronics and more. It's very simple - I love making and listening to new and old musik I loathe long walks on the beach but love sunrises..

Right now, there are people all over the world who are just like you. They're either lonely, they're missing somebody, they're depressed, frustrated, misplaced, silent they're hurt, they're scarred from the past,  issues no one knows about, they have secrets you wouldn't conceive. They wish, they dream and they hope - as should we. And right now, they are sitting there reading these words, and I'm writing this for you so YOU don't feel alone anymore. Don't be depressed about the past, don't worry about the future, and just focus on today. If today's not so great don't worry! Tomorrow's a new day. Stop, pause that thought, breathe and focus on today it is ALL we have - moment by moment. If today's ain't so hot - don't worry, it's only temporary. Think of your life as an hourglass. You know there are thousands of grains of sand in the top of the hourglass; and they all pass slowly and evenly through the narrow neck in the middle. Nothing you or I could do would make more than one grain of sand pass through this narrow neck without impairing the hourglass. You and I and everyone else are like this hourglass...if we do not take (tasks) one at a time and let them pass...slowly and evenly, then we are bound to break our own... fragile structure.
