This song started as a remix but I loved the instrumental so much I wanted to keep it. We tried singer after singer but nothing clicked. One day Nevve sent over some ideas, and with her voice, it instantly made sense.  To me, the dynamic across the lows and highs in this track reflect the complexities of love, the tribulations of lust, and everything that falls in between.  The turn of the new year has me feeling good, and like now is the right time to put this out in to the world.

Limbo is a track I’ve been opening my sets with for the past couple shows. 

I made it during a strange time in my life when I was floating between several binaries relating to my career, relationship at the time, and self-esteem. It’s a frustrating time but also a sadly beautiful one that I hope a lot of people can relate to. 

This theme shaded many decisions that went into this release, like the repetitive motif that basically plays all throughout but reoccurs in very different ways. 

Limbo is both my hardest and most vulnerable track to date.

'All I Can Do' is a song I wrote about finally coming to terms with the end of a relationship and saying goodbye to a part of myself that kept holding on to the past.  Sometimes you get so attached to the way you were with someone that when it’s suddenly over, you start asking questions that ultimately don’t have answers, or at least the ones that you’re looking for. Sometimes, all you can do is move on.  In any case, I hope that you enjoy the song !  This is the first single off my upcoming EP with the wonderful Foreign Family Collective.

‘Meant To Be’ is a track I wrote about all the people I’ve seen on the edge of either starting a relationship, or ending one. As a stubborn over-thinker myself, I’ve been on both sides of this and, in either situation, have always overly complicated things for myself. There’s a lot of unnecessary noise when you’re constantly wondering whether a person is the right one for you. This song is a reminder to just let these things happen, enjoy the moments you share with others, and be free.  As always, I truly hope you enjoy.

I imagined this track to involve a group of children waiting for the sun to set to make the discovery of something magical or witnessing a beautiful phenomenon of nature. Something about the way it came together reminds me of childhood and the limitless of imagination. Visually, I see swirls of psychedelic light and energy bouncing into each other like the birth of a star (hence the name of the demo).
