@wavsnacksdump: this is actually the original quality, most of it was produced on as commodore amiga using 8-bit sample quality, hence the kind of "crushed" sound. The film speech samples were added afterwards because it was too much audio for the amiga to hold in memory

@wavsnacksdump: I don't think I have the original non mp3 recording, it may be impossible to recreate - I'm sorry! I don't have any of the original equipment. I have the original octamed files for the amiga part which can be played back on an emulator, but not the film vocal parts. I appreicate the interest though :) it's not goofy at all, I'm a compression nerd too!
