In the late 90's I teamed up with Will Balderston to form a group called "The Sandbenders", taken from William Gibson book, "Idoru."  Soon we found out there was already a band with that name, so we change our moniker to "Slitscan" Will and I produced several tracks together, which his contribution can be heard in every track I've put up here. Bare in mind that I used to live my life very differently, back them, so most of the details are quite foggy or absent. this is as accurate as I can get.

At some point in 2000, I think, Will left Slitscan for personal reasons and I started working more closely with DJ Patchbay from Oranj Plus Records, in Seattle, and they published some of my music. After laying a show in SLC with other people from Oranj Plus during the 2002 Winter Olympics, for reasons of my own, I rarely made any new music, though I still continued to play shows locally. In 2006 I changed "Slitscan" to "Robot Hospital." After playing a few shows under that name, I stopped music all together. This was part of a dramatic shift in my mentality. Being that all the necessary elements are in place for Robot Hospital to exist, I've dabbled a little in the last few years, creating parts of tracks here and there, but never finishing anything. My focus has been in other areas. It is my intention to once again revisit Robot Hospital, in the near future.
