Recorded in memory of Noisily Festival which was held in the UK from 2011 to 2024. An annual gathering of colourful, crazy, wonderful people in an English woodland. Filled with adventure and surprises and powered by jaw-dropping sound and lights, Noisily Festival was a special place that will live long in the memory. This mix is inspired by the many artists heard and music performed there over many years, and winds its way from house through techno to progressive psy trance.

In Celebration of Noisily Festival

A recreation of my set at Notsilly Festival 2025 - Confirmed to have turned some techno lovers into freshly born Drum n Bass heads and elicit transformative moments. I just had a fucking good time! 

I forgot to hit record for this one too - but there was magic in the air as the sun rose into Sunday at this beautiful festival and I couldn't help but try to recreate it. Somehow this has ended up 30 minutes shorter than the actual set. Which was unexpectedly performed totally off the bat and improvised in the moment. 

The only thing I couldn't get into this recording was the beautiful crowd - who for some reason during this little adventure were filling in some gaps with whalesong, and answering questions for the class. Some things best left in the moment. 

A huge thank you to @furi0sa who handed off to me for my surprise extension of the music into the early hours of sunday - and who played a set that blew my mind. And to @nevernotluke, who followed me up and finished off the festival, and to the crowd who gave back everything I gave 'em and more. Big ups notsilly crew!

Rob Ótico is a Bristol-based DJ and producer blending techno, progressive and psytrance into powerful sets defined by deep basslines and explosive breakdowns. 

After a life-changing accident and an eight-year hiatus, he returned to the stage with a glowing prosthetic and an even stronger drive, performing alongside international heavyweights including John 00 Fleming, Jay Lumen and Eats Everything. 

Today, he’s recognised for high-energy performances and is one of the most recognisable characters on the dancefloor.
