Hey everyone this is Goldhawk here. I’ve finally recovered after an amazing weekend at Camp Aram. This was the 7th edition organised by my friend Aram Arachi. The festival was set in the gorgeous Malvern countryside, at a beautiful site called Out To Grass. It was lovely to see the Bristol Crew out in force with a grand repertoire of music covering everything from 80s throwbacks to drum and bass. Shout out to the performers K8Bosh, Thrill Collins, Late Day Breakers, Drumigan, The Menendez Brothers, Petey P, Naro, Valentine & Porter, David Petrozzi, Kasai Masai, The Nightshift, J Cams, Arachi, Eynka and Holy Fathers. I managed to squeeze in 2 sets on the Saturday between 2-3pm and 7-8pm, playing my default ethno, organic and progressive house which draws influence from different folk traditions from around the world. I hope you lot enjoy reliving the mix and I look forward to seeing you all at Camp Aram next year. Goldhawk out! 🦅

Hey everyone. This is Goldhawk here and this is my set from Notsilly Festival on Saturday 12th July. I dug deep with this one and pulled out some true beauties from my library which encapsulates my sound. Out of the 60+ sets I’ve published to SoundCloud this is THE ONE. Light and dark, hard and soft, magical instruments, tribal drum programming, sounds from nature, influences from Indian, African and Middle Eastern cultures, remixes and edits of classics in my style, alongside tracks and acapellas with beautiful lyrics.

It was a scorching hot couple of days and a real privilege to play to my favourite festival crew, some of whom I’ve known for 9 years since first going to Noisily Festival in 2016. 450 of us came together in Mountsorrel, Leicestershire on the River Soar, off the back of Noisily Festival being cancelled by Live Nation.

It was a real triumph, especially as it was all organised in 2 months and completely sold out. The organisers even had to secure additional fields so we could up the capacity and number of stages. Hats off to Vish, Lawrence, Adam and all the amazing people that helped make this happen. You are all legends in my eyes. The first ever Notsilly Festival will be etched into my brain forever and I can’t wait to return next year. Much love to you all and I hope this mix brings you happiness, wherever you are and whatever you’re going through.

Here's my Party Trike set recorded live at Notsilly Festival from 16:30-18:00 on Sat 12 July 2025. I can't really describe what it was like playing this set to such a lovely up for it energised crowd, but I loved every minute of it & had a blast. It was honestly one of my fav dj gigs to date :) Huge thanks to Vish, Mark & the team for the support, I felt really privileged to play on such an amazing fun stage that is the Party Trike. Enjoy x

Notsilly a grassroots electronic music festival rises from the ashes of cancelled Noisily Festival, proving community spirit trumps corporate control. When Noisily Festival vanished without explanation, its community heart refused to die. 
Notsilly Festival, a defiant, DIY tribute, took place on 10-13 July 2025.

One day, thousands of festival-goers had tickets to the beloved Noisily Music and Arts Festival. The next, they had refunds and silence. No explanation. No goodbye. Just a corporate decision that erased 12 years of underground music history overnight!
But this community wasn't about to let their tribe scatter to the wind.
Strangers who had never met in the outside world but who shared a deep connection forged at Noisily and maintained through online forums and social media began to unite. Despite official Facebook group posts being largely declined from approval, one message about a small party near the original festival site slipped through, sparking hope amongst the disbanded tribe.

What happened next proves that the most powerful force in music isn't money...it's community.
From this spark, a genuine grassroots organisation emerged. A personal heartfelt farewell letter by a community member circulated, and a new WhatsApp group formed to keep the community connected as many sought alternative festivals to fill the void. Soon after, a dedicated community member stepped forward to organise an event that would embody the original Noisily spirit.
What began as a modest 50-person gathering quickly sold out, prompting a move to a larger nearby field. The event swelled to 500 attendees, fuelled entirely by community contributions, no formal budget, no corporate backing!
 
Organisers called on experienced festival-goers to donate decor, lighting, and connections. Apart from hiring DJ equipment and sound equipment, the entire festival became a collective effort.

"This isn't about replacing Noisily," explains one of the volunteer organisers. "It's about keeping the spirit alive, the music, the community, the magic that brought us all together in the first place. We're proving that the heart of a festival isn't the brand or the corporate backing, it's the people."
Notsilly Festival is not about headliners or commercial spectacle, it is a celebration of the underground, a community-driven homage to the music, creativity, and connection that made Noisily a beloved institution. The festival took place at an undisclosed location near the original Noisily site, on the same weekend that would have been the Noisily music and arts festival.
This event stands as a testament to the power of grassroots collaboration and the enduring bond of the Noisily tribe—proving that when corporate interests abandon a community, the community can rise to create something even more meaningful.When our beloved Noisily Festival vanished without explanation, its community refused to die.

Once upon a time, I  had the privilege of opening the Noisily stage. At that point I had created four tracks myself but not played out and never to such a discerning audience. I thought the best thing to do was to nestle the attempts I have made at production between a Neurodriver and Ben Coda track who are a pair of Noisily and my own favourites. I think it worked….what do you think? Hope you like it…

Rob Ótico is a Bristol (UK) based DJ and producer with an exceptional talent for weaving between genres. Centring on techno, his sound also pulls from progressive, hard and psy trance blending gorgeous breakdowns with driving basslines and gut punching drops.

His love affair with all things electronic began from an early age from playing on decks at his local youth centre to spending his student loan on a set of Numark BluDog’s. Rob Ótico was a natural on the decks landing DJ gigs playing at renowned venues Club X, Hippo Club, Purple Turtle and for historic brand Ripsnorter. At this time he was known for his hard dance style playing alongside legendary names Mark EG and Uberdruck.

Unfortunately, Rob Ótico’s DJ career came to a grinding halt after a horrific bike accident, resulting in his right leg being amputated above the knee. Rob experienced complications adjusting to life without his leg, which led him to hang up the headphones. 
However, a combination of Rob Ótico’s burning passion for dance music and advances in medicine allowed him to begin walking again after 8 years. He then hosted his own club night which incredibly he managed to warm up for John 00 Fleming during his post-op recovery period, putting blood, sweat and tears into the performance which has been a career highlight to date.

Whether behind the decks or on the dancefloor, Rob brings a massive amount of infectious energy and character wherever he goes, which is why (along with his glowing prosthetic leg), he has become one of the most recognisable people on the scene
