The track’s tale of superstition and empathy is crafted through Picazo’s bluesy vocal and its soulful horn arrangements, courtesy of trumpet player Stewart Cole (Edward Sharpe and Magnetic Zeros), taking you from the back streets of Memphis on a cold Saturday night to the warmth of a Sunday morning in church.

Recorded in the heart of Memphis with a band that features the legendary Charles Hodges (Al Green) on organ, Kirk Smothers on Saxophones (Hi Rhythm), and Carla Barnes and Shontelle Norman-Beatty (#1 Billboard Gospel Artist) with gospel-laden backing vocals, Picazo’s self-penned debut single blends the soul of the church with the fervor of Rhythm & Blues.
