Ripping Out The Funk

I wrote this song when I was 17 years old. It was only fitting that I open my debut album with it 17 years later. Over the years I've played this tune with many different Bands. When I was studying at NMIT in 95 the co ordinator Glenn Blair introduced me to Gerry Pantazis who played drums on the original tafe college CD version on an octopad mind you. Following Gerry other great drummers like David Jones, Marcus Ryan and Daniel Xuerub have all had a crack at playing it. The traditionl of great drummers continues with Johnny Salerno on this version.
This tune has almost been a mini hit for me over the years in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne. LOL
It's a song about my hands and how I wished they were a bit longer and not so short, stubby and hairy!
