Hailing from the capital of Schleswig-Holstein, Kiel to be precise, like many artists from his society, namely Aera or Barnt, aspiring artist Marc Wolf is – as a club-owner, producer, label-owner and DJ – deeply rooted in the electronic music scene and certainly always on the hunt for new artists and music. With his art:cast Marc follows the approach of a musically diverse (club) night, including new pieces, old tracks, disco-influenced music and deep as well as Indie/ Alternative tunes. Still the humble musician avoids arbitrariness as his track selection's common factor is a general vibe that makes his art:cast a fluent and outstanding collection of musical bits that seem to intertwine and evolve naturally – something one can only create with profound knowledge of the matter and experience: both is on hand when speaking of Marc Wolf. Besides smoothly and skilfully mixing the aforementioned genres the artist's approach includes several own edits and unreleased tracks, upcoming weapons from his Empore label and takes from friends and musical companions like Philipp Harms and Valiete. Marc Wolf's art:cast definitely is a Northern German haunted forest providing the right ingredients for many while making it tempting for the rest.

Neil Flynn has been a constant in the electronic music scene since 2014 when he released his ‘Louise EP’ on Lossless, a label run by Mathias Schober. Another EP on the label, ‘J.E.N.’, followed in 2016 and has been the most previous own track from Neil until now. Almost one year later it is time for the Irish and Guiness loving lad to contribute a new cut, ‘Shon’, to Lossless’ compilation ‘Outbound 2’ that is released on September 1st. Before its worldwide release Torture the Artist not only spoke to Neil about his upcoming music, but also the reasons why he is attracted to Lossless, his guitar skills and the painful day after writing a musical masterpiece.
