@Manjumasi’s 15th offering proves that slow and steady wins the race! Back in July, label mastermind @atish teamed up with San Francisco neighbor @BengalSF for the first time since a debut on @Kindisch. A third of the star studded “atish + friends” EP, “Tortoise” exhibited patient yet tactful intention with each serene stride. Making his production debut for the label, A&R lead @Naveen-G makes this an in-house affair. The New Yorker utilizes modularity in his remix's first and second movements, giving rise to a breakdown full of warm, soaring synths.

This November, Ruede Hagelstein steps up to remix a Sawlin single that featured on the fantastic recent Berlin Gets Physical compilation.

The original version from techno mainstay and Delsin regular Sawlin was one of the standout tracks of the mix, and is presented here in original format. It is a superbly deep and dubbed out techno track that sinks you into its echoing hits and rolling kick drums and keeps you there for the duration.

Ruede Hagelstein, meanwhile, is part of the German underground thanks to forward thinking releases on the likes of Souvenir and Watergate. This marks his debut on Get Physical and finds him reinterpret the original with a unique style of his own. He flips the track into a mysterious and rolling affair with plenty of warmth from the pillowy kick drums and an intriguing lead flute line that charms you and
takes you on a real journey.

These are two terrific tracks, each with their own identity and indelible impact.

Motek’s first release of the summer comes all the way from Bangkok with South African born Kuroten. He has delivered a track full of luscious soundscapes that truly create a vision of ‘Talking In Technicolour’. Acid notes line the track that sit on a selection of ebb and flow pads pulsing whilst slowly growing and opening up as the track progresses. The track is finished with a spoken word vocal that ties the production together.

Remixing on this release we are excited to bring a wealth of talent in the form of Jonny Cruz, Marcus Sur and Octave.

Jonny has kept a similar broken beat base and flavour of the original specifically through pad elements moving in and out in the background. The Cruz touch comes through a sharper raw feel driven through the bass line and edgy monotone synth lead. This creates a darker production with a feeling of mystery.

Marcus has brought his signature punchy production driven through the syncopation between bass and kick. A variety of percussive hits dance around the arrangement helping create this hypnotic take.

Finally Octave has created a much faster feel to this remix. Generated by a quick moving 16th note acid synth and bouncy bass line this really is an in your face speaker buzzing track.
