On side A we can hear the main track 'Change the System', which with its celestial pads and transitions gives rise to a too good and too pure vibe. On side B he presents us with 'Holistic', where we can also hear some very well executed transitions but this time the bass line is less progressive, more marked and hard, together with the vocal stabs give rise to a very good deep track . For the 27th JEUDI issue let’s welcome back one of the label headhonchos Doctor Dru. The “Savannah” EP is uniting his past as a drummer and his feel for hooky, layered arpeggios in a perfect manner. Dru’s tracks are always welcomed sureshots on the foor. His last contribution “The Pattern” stirred up the summer in Ibiza in 2015 and was played to death by major league artists like Solomun or Nic Fanciulli. This year his infamous remixes of D-nox & Beckers “Serenade” on JEUDI , Nico Stojans “BLUE HOUR” and Sailor &I’s “Letters” stirred up the festivals and foors around the world. We are sure this release will fnd his way in the playlist of many DJs as well.

The “Savannah” leads you in the wide of the african steppe merging multi layered arpish melodies into one fne percussion driven hypnotizing tune. Of course with never missing the hands up moment.

“Praerie” is featuring a little darker atmosphere but not less percussion driven. You’ll fnd Dru’s signature drone with trancy melody interjections. But the breakdown is what made the tracks name. Inspired by the west coast synth melodies of the late 70’s it comes suprisingly and with just the right power to make the crowd freak out.

Moodmusic invites Kandovan to unleash 2 original works with remixes from Roberto Rodriguez and Joal. Kandovan is project from Iranian born Sam Farsio and Arnold Misquitta aka AFM.

Sam Farsio is active in the Dubai music scene and has been a driving force in the city for the past years. He collaborated with MMR already in the past under his solo name for the Eclectic compilation from label head Sasse. AFM hails from India, his name is now a household one in the genre of electronica not only around his home country but across continents.

Vision I & II rely heavily on the Italo vibe of the mid 80s, elevated by new top notch modern production and swirly synthesiser work. 

Roberto Rodriguez drops in some house honey to the cocoon and transforms the Vision I in to a dark, yet uplifting peak time driver. 

Joal transforms Vision II into a darker, more electro tingled belter with uplifting keys and seismic bass.
