Australia’s Soul Wun is a young skater making beautiful sun soaked deep house jams, previously for the likes of 13th Hour, House Cookin’, Feedasoul, Clipp.art and of course SlothBoogie where he returns here following his appearance on the first ‘Dancing With Friends’ compilation.

Opening the release is ‘Piero’s Strings’, merging twinkly piano lines and cinematic strings with winding bass grooves and organic drums. ‘Japan Theme’ follows next, fusing hazy brass licks, a walking bass line and jazz keys with a swinging drum groove and spoken word Japanese samples.

Opening the B-side of the release is ‘Lily Flower (Adele)’, laying focus on an amalgamation of warm piano tones, a swinging rhythm and plucked bass tones throughout. ‘Sun Lady Statement’ is up next, taking things in a more acid jazz direction via broken percussion, psychedelic guitar licks and hypnotic, poetic vocal chants.

Lastly to round out the release Houseum and Axe On Wax artist Jesse Bru delivers his twist on 'Lily Flower (Adele)’, bringing a more upfront House aesthetic to the table courtesy of shuffled drums and driving low end, while the original’s ethereal textures ebb and flow within.

From Cape to Gaza is a deep Afro house track that connects the rhythm of South Africa’s past struggle with the present reality of Palestine. I chose Afro house because it carries the heartbeat of Africa - spiritual, hypnotic, and unifying - making it the perfect vessel to tell a story of resistance across oceans.

This track weaves in the words of Nelson Mandela - “Our freedom is incomplete without the freedom of the Palestinians” and Desmond Tutu, who reminded us that the occupation of Palestine mirrored what he had seen under apartheid. Their voices echo here because they understood that solidarity is not symbolic, it is essential.

The lyrics are chants, mantras, and waves: rising, fighting, and refusing to bow. The music is protest turned into movement - a reminder that from Cape Town’s streets to Gaza’s shores, the tide of justice keeps pushing forward.

Enoo Napa is the craftsman who made this fantastic Ep that has an aggressive afro house mood and the right dark touch. 'Elements Ep' is an interesting release that contains 3 deadly tracks that will not disappoint the expectations of your dancefloor.
'Monsters & Aliens' is a very suggestive and hypnotic track. The intro with percussive base becomes terrifying after the first minute thanks to the appearance of a very impressive electronic synth. The central break is a whirlwind that will hold everything in suspense and then start again giving off unrivaled power.
'They Are Coming' has a fluid rhythm, surrounded by a low heat and particular melodies of electronic synths. The track is a constant crescendo and psychedelic evolutions. A majestic track.
'Through Time & Space' has a much more sunny pace and more open sounds. The percussion accompany everything in a refined but not too soft. Also here are some hints of electronic synths. The melody of strings that enters with arrogance in the piece gives thickness and greatness to the whole complex. The second half is characterized by a very sharp and effective lap of the piano. This package can not miss in your repertoire, the dancefloor will thank you.

Neil Amarey appears from the depths of Mozambique speaking the body language of House to lay
out the grounds of the game. Yielding a firm grasp of traditional African rhythms and the acumen to
candidly integrate past within the present, Amarey comes aboard MoBlack Records with label
veteran and Afro House luminary, Enoo Napa, to spew the 399th set of weapons for the label’s vast
arsenal. Fetching basslines, prolific soundscapes and an Afro-infused groove thrive on the trifle
between tension and release in Amarey’s Original Mix of Lose the Game, but the seductive and
gratifying nature of victory, as in any play, lures and here, euphonic melodic chords and impulsive
electronic swells are bait. On B side, Enoo Napa revels in the aftermath of the game, infatuated with
its motions and vulnerable at play. Weaving raw Afro elements with a bit of techno noir, the South
African DJ/Producer renders his signature Afro electronic touch to drift reverberated vocals and
syncopated harmonies through layers of synthesized soundwaves to the track’s elegant finish. ‘Lose
the Game’ is only but a thought in this EP, both sides might tug but at a war with no defeat.
