Hollow Knight is one of my favorite games of the past few years, and it's got an absolutely stellar soundtrack. So as a little tribute, I thought it'd be fun to cover Hornet's Battle Theme!

You'll probably notice I, uh... took some liberties with the time signatures. At first I tried to keep the arrangement more faithful to the original, but it seemed too generic, and I didn't want this to sound like every other metal cover on Youtube ever. So I decided to just go ham with it, and ended up with a Tetrafusion-inspired jam with like a million time changes!

I also used this as an opportunity to test some new mixing techniques - and get a feel for my newly-purchased drum software GetGood Drums. So you can expect much better sounding drum parts (and everything else too, hopefully) from this point on!
