Rob Vice - Dance With Me

Hey guys, my new single “Heaven” is out now! It’s a Disco House influenced track that I started writing back in the summer of 2020. It took me a long time to see this project through and that was for several reasons, but I am glad that I did not end up throwing it into the trash bin LOL!

But I also think that this track is going to be one of a kind as I am now focusing on different style of music. There’s still going to be a fair share of funk and disco in the new style, but it will be wrapped in a bit different package. Stay tuned for more, lots of fun stuff and cool music coming soon!

Hey guys! Presenting something very different from me. I recently heard a trending song by Selena Gomez and it instantly hooked me, so I decided to make a hardstyle remix of it.

This is my very first hardstyle song that I am publishing and I got a couple more in the works - it's just something that I've been recently enjoying producing on the side. I actually used to listen to a lot of hardstyle when I was young, so this is in some way going back to the roots and immersing myself in nostalgia.

I am not sure if my current followers even know about hardstyle genre, but hopefully some of you find it cool and maybe you'll be interested to explore more hardstyle. ❤️

Rob Vice teams up with Estonian vocalist & producer CSAAR to return on Sundrum with a concept track that draws influences from Afro House and Melodic House genres. Being heavily inspired by the imagery of tropical rainstorms, the instrumental leans onto percussive drums and bongo-like melody, while cleverly chosen atmosphere and FX set you right into the rainy jungle. Instrumental is complemented by a dreamy vocal that reassures you that even on a stormy night, we'll still be alright.

The track idea started way back in 2020 in the wake of global pandemic and the lyrics were set out to convey a comforting message in a distressing pandemic time, but it took three years to see the final idea through.

Happy Friday guys! After the success of "El Canto", I am proud to return to one of my favorite labels @groovebassment with my bro MNRVA (@mnrva) with a certified festival and club banger! 🙌💥 

"Get Hype" stays true to its name and is all about that crazy dancefloor energy. Featuring an electrifying vocal that alternates between high and low pitch, a super groovy beat and a massive riser build, you just can't go wrong with hyping the crowd up with this one!

This track actually got started way back in 2022 and I am super glad that it's finally seeing the light! Also it's quite crazy how this collab even happened because I met MNRVA in 2021 on a pretty random Discord server and we became good online friends since then. He actually used to produce future bass music before we met and over time he got more and more drawn into house music world. So in 2022 he started producing his first house tracks and one day he sent me the idea for "Get Hype" and I immediately knew that this was going to be a massive banger. The main idea for what you can hear in this track came in just one day, but we got really lost in the details and that's why it took so long to finish it because we wanted to make sure that the track can live up to its potential. 💪

Rob Vice, MNRVA - Get Hype [Groove Bassment]

Earlier this summer I had a chance to participate in a remix competition hosted by my friends Disco Fries. The original was a trance-y track at 146BPM but I decided to slow it down by 15BPM and turn it into an energetic piano house track. And this is the result.

I loved Alix's vocals and found an interesting loop/hook in them that gave me a bit of a nostalgic summer vibe, so I decided to lean onto it with the piano and overall feel of the track. Some people have told me that it has a 90's house feel to it which I didn't necessarily go for but I can see why with the selection of the kick, classic M1 piano and M1 organ as well. I also purposely wanted to make drums feel a bit weird to give it a distinct character.

Being heavily influenced by Brazilian music, in particular by classic Bossa Nova, Rob set out to create his own version of this jazzy genre. The result is a house-y track featuring classic Bossa Nova guitar, cuica, sampled chops of Bossa vocal and a jazzy trumpet melody with a proper vintage feel - all you need to take you to the beach! I started this remix three years ago when my friend jokingly said one day that someone needs to make a Coco Jambo remix and I was like "hold on, that might be the job just for me!" 😂

The idea was to make a high energy (tech) house remix of it but keep the feel of the original. I used a bunch of cool percussions and a groovy uplifting bassline to give it a nice tropical house feel. 🪘

Hailing from Estonia, Rob Vice emerges as a dynamic artist in the global house music scene, infusing his tracks with South American rhythms, World Music and a soulful touch.

Rob’s earliest musical influences came from playing GTA and being completely hooked on the music showcased on those in-game radio stations. GTA Vice City in particular also influenced the creation of the Rob Vice alias, which combines an Americanized version of his real name and the Vice City thematic.

In 2013, Rob started producing his own music, but in a fast-paced world of Drum&Bass. What initially started out as a mere pastime progressed into a desire to bring something fresh to the scene. So in 2020 - being influenced by artists such as Mark Knight, Rene Amesz and Ferreck Dawn - he made the switch to house music.

His music is often characterized by groovy basslines, distinct percussion and high energy rhythms – a killer combination to make any dancefloor shake. Another key component of his sound is a memorable melodic hook that is often composed of timeless piano, trumpet and guitar.

Rob's global presence skyrocketed in 2023, with his Vice City radio show and DJ mixes gaining over 10K subscribers and 2M views on YouTube in just one year. His collaboration with SSOL, "El Canto," amassed 100M+ social media views and over a million streams to date. Supported by esteemed artists such as KSHMR, CID, Andruss and Kryder, Rob is set to expand his reach further in 2025 with a packed release schedule and a debut EP.

Outside of music, Rob has been involved in the startups and tech sector and he loves to work on innovative ideas and technologies. In high school, he also used to be a big chemistry nerd and has placed high on various chemistry olympiads and competitions. And even though it may present a facade of seriousness, then in reality Rob has always had a soft spot for good memes and video games.
